Days Hotel Spa & Leisure Club Waterford

Para empezar , decir que nosotros realizamos un recorrido por toda irlanda y este hotel nos iba de paso. Cuando realice la reserva no me lo creí, ya que me costo la estancia 11 euros por la habitación doble más el spa ( que era una una piscina de 15 metros y jacuzzi) y donde también entro un súper- mega desayuno inglés (salchichas, bacon, huevo, cereales..). El hotel no está mal, todo limpio etc.

no me ha gustado la recepcionista del hotel, sabía que no hablabamos inglés a la perfección lo hablamos más o menos, y encima con aires de superioridad(me extraño por ser irlandesa, ya que la gente allí es muy simpática y amigable).

A universal problem auld fellows like me experience is the quality of reading lights in hotels. Some use bedside lights with spots and that helps. But the Greens are in Government, so we have "Gormley Candles"!

I liked the friendliness of the staff and the service was top quality. The room was ideal for what we wanted. Very reasonable and food was great.

I was woken a number of times during the night, there was constant music being played throughout the night in some room, I told reception but they couldn't locate, we could hear the guests above us move around as their floor our cieling was creaky. We were woken by a group of drunken women shouting in the hall outside our room at 5:00am

The leisure club is OK

Very cold room - had to ask for heating to be switched on. Cramped, poorly designed, particularly in the ensuite. Not as clean as it could/ should be

Great service and value

Non-Smoking Room smeeled off smoke when we checked in. Room quickly changed with no hassle.

Visited the hictorical sites in and around the city, did some shopping, went to New Ross to see the Dunbrody and then to Tramore beach

Only one thing that the noise in the room from the kitchen vents were very loud when we arrived, but they stopped around 9.30-10pm and starting up again about 9am in the morning

Proximity to Waterford city and ease of finding.

Staff were very unfriendly and gave me the impression that I was not a valued customer but an inconvienence to be hurried out as soon as possible. The manager of the hotel was particularly unhelpful. On returning from my breakfast on day check out my door would not open and so had to return to reception to reprocesses the door card. Cleaning staff entered the room without knocking which was most disturbing. Finally, there was an electrical 'hum' nice in the background caused by poor electrical installation to the room.

Finding the room it took us at least 30mins very confusing in the layout of the rooms and the car park was a bit away

I was very happy with size and layout of the room. I found the location very convenient. I really enjoyed the leisure facilities. The lady in reception was very friendly and helpful.

I thought the bar food left alot to be desired and did not represent value for money also the bar and waitng staff were not friendly at all. The changing rooms for the leisure facilities also need lockers that can store clothes and shoes and not just small valuables. We drove a van to Waterford and your parking lot could not accomodate for its height.
