Location for Ratoath and the Tattersalls horse sales.

Not as thoroughly cleaned behind things as a commercial hotel. Bed sheets very thin and poor quality.

Handy to the city, excellent service and superb breakfast. Great value.

A little dated, some TLC needed in the rooms. Tiles cracked, paint needed etc. Nothing major though!

Beautiful and quaint Neat and tidy. Very homely and friendly guest house. We had a family room which had two inter connecting rooms for us and our kids. Which we loved. Ideally located for us as was a half way stop to the north. Close to tayto park which was one of our stops also..a lovely stay.

It was about 80% clean. Could do with a hover under stuff and a lick of paint and a little up date in living room and dinning room and carpet on the stairs is worn, but see passed all that, it was a beautiful county house, and a lovely place to stay

    The rural location was lovely.

I thought they weren't overly generous with the cooked breakfast and the choice of cereals.the orange juice could have been better quality. It was just ok,I wouldn't be rushing back.

The location was lovely, very quiet however within short driving distance to both Tayto Park and Dublin Zoo so perfect for a young child. Staff were very welcoming and breakfast was perfect for a long day and ready and waiting for whatever time you requested. Room suited us perfectly. We will definitely be back!

Wifi done us for what we needed as we were in no hurry however signal was quite low and dipped in and out of coverage.

Well maintained gardens, welcoming staff, size of rooms, quiet feel of place away from road

Road to nearest village had heavy lorry traffic and no pavements.

A nice country house which let's you wake up to that fresh country air, just far enough away from Dublin to be quite and relaxing. Nearby Ashbourne has some dining and shopping opportunities, but not too much further away, Swords offers a lot more. A great location too for a quick drive to the airport. Only a few minutes off the motorway makes it a handy for a fast drive into Dublin or reasonable drive to Belfast. The host, Sandra, was pleasant to chat with and offered lots of local info and advice. Checkout the on-site salon/spa if you want some deep relaxation.

A little dated, but that fits with the rustic country charm. I forgot to ask the host if they use well water as it certainly tasted of it. Not a problem for me, but some folks find it hard to drink...bring some bottled water if that's you.
