We attended a wedding at BrookLodge which was fantastic, the staff, food and location were fantastic. The breakfast the following morning was gorgeous I felt that the it was overpriced especially in these economic times and our bathroom wasnt as clean as it could have been

We found the Brook Lodge to be just lovely, a very relaxing and relaxed atmosphere obtained from the moment we arrived - the fire in reception, the dog lying by the reception desk, the low ceilings and the quietness. The location, with the mountains, Avondale and Avoca nearby all contributed. We had an incredible meal in the Strawberry Tree and, as for the spa. Well, we'll be back!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They allow dogs at the hotel. The food in the italian restaurant was amazing and good value by Irish prices. The gardens were beautiful and the room was wonderful. The breakfast was brilliant.

We spent two days at the end of our trip and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the facilities. The staff were very helpful. We spent time in the spa, which was excellent. We also borrowed bikes from the hotel, and explored the area a bit. Everything was perfect.

I enjoyed our stay , the weather was beautiful , but there was nothing in the hotel to entain us as night time espically if it was raining. We didnt eat in the hotel at night.

Location Beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. Booked a suite and although still lovely. It was starting to show 'wear and tear'. A bit of extra TLC is all that is needed.

Staff very accomodating. Spa was really relaxing, people doing treatments very professional and you got confidence they knew what they were doing, food excellent (tasty & healthy). price runs up when you add food, treatments. so overall can be expensive. tried to get a late chaeck-out on sunday as treatments were not until 3pm. could only get this for an extra 50 euros so thought this was a little unaccomodating given I'm pretty sure they did not need our room. a small thing - no water or fridge in the room.
