We arrived late at night and the evening staff was excellent. We were upgraded to deluxe rooms at no charge which was a very pleasant surprise. The location of the hotel was excellent. It is situated on a quiet side street, but within a short walking distance to all the major attractions. The breakfast was good, and our dinner one night was very good. The rooms were large and the king bed was extremely comfortable. The Conceirge was extremely knowledgable and friendly and knew everyone by name. He and the staff made you feel very welcomed. We had a wonderful 4 night stay and would definately stay there again without hesitation.

The front desk service was great! Thanks particularly to Harriet and to the Concierge - Connor. Great location, very close to everything but still in a nice peaceful area. Decor was old world traditional. I would recommend it to mature persons or anyone who likes that old world feel. Bathroom had a terrible leak, so when shower was on, the water would run behind the taps all on the floor into a huge puddle, room was clean and tidy but carpet was old and had a few sticky spots, terrible view of the back of a building out the window (for a deluxe room on the top floor!), although decor was old world traditional, it looked a tad shabby. When we went for breakfast the order arrived incorrect (and there weren't many patrons) and the waitress asked if we were done going to the buffet as they wanted to clean up! Would have been better if she just said that the buffet would be closing now in case we wanted anything from it. Overall the hotel was acceptable but we were expecting a more classic old world posh experience.

Convience to the Nation Archives, Library and Museams. As well as to shopping, resturants and night life. The hotel is clean and well run. Loved the hotel - but - the weather in Dublin was wet and cold. But this is Ireland so that is to be expected. Great place.

Perfect location for our Dublin break; which was a family celebration of my wife's mothers' 90th birthday. Felt very much at ease and staff very friendly. Would use the hotel on a future visit to Ireland. Bar prices a little expensive but having said that we found Dublin quite an expensive city anyway.

Very comfy bed.. Nice entrance lobby I expected that the hotel would be nicer for the 125 per room price.. I have stayed in some of the other hotels in the 80-100 per room bracket and they were def very similar. I thought the photos and images were a little deceptive.. They made the hotel look more luxurious than it was.. Lift and corridors were very narrow and felt slightly clastraphobic.

Location was eccellent and staff were really friendly, attendative and professional and any request was dealt with immediately and to my satisfaction. OIn short everything that would have hoped for in enjoyingthe experience ofthe break rather than having other issues intrude and spoil the enjoyment.

Staff friendly and helpful from the minute of arrival to the minute of departure. Room was big enough and was well furnished and serviced. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff. Service at breakfast was erratic and unacceptable waits were experienced.Frequently had to ask (with some staff) for items which they should have enquired about. (eg. more toast?more coffee?)

The Brooks is a lovely quiet friendly hoteWhatl, very clean and in the perfect place for shopping on Grafton street, 10 mins walk takes you to the luas tram. What I didn't like about the Brookes was the breakfast, which just isn't the same standard as it used to be, its still very tasty but just not what you'd expect from the Brooks...

Everyone was very helpful, the concierge Conner, everyone at the front desk gave us helpful suggestions from where to eat to directions!!! Great breakfast every morning!! They even let us check in early to sleep when we arrived at 7 am, gave us some toast and coffee and we were able to rest after our long trip. Would highly recommend!!!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a room only booking and the receptionist informed us that they would offer us breakfast for half price, 10Euro which was lovely. The location of The Brooks is excellent for shopping, restaurants & bar hoping. The free WiFi was good and fast. The AirCoach from Dublin airport takes you right to Trinity college which is a 5 min walk to the hotel and costs 14 Euro return. Takes approx 30mins. Hotel is really clean and well kept. The Maids trolley seemed to be a permanent fixture outside my room door (r505) Gym was too small, no more than 2 users at a time and has very limited facilities.
