Bed was very comfortable ,there was easy way to traffic very nice people good hospitality ,tasty food ,avialble iron in room . Nice garden ,free spa ,with special thanks to mr laim, mss dei the are very kindly people.
Warm atmosphere, lovely present package, great service...
Our hosts, Liam and Dei are the best. Went out of their way to insure our comforts and make it a memorable experience for my wife and I. We had just arrived to Dublin from walking 550 miles on the Camino de Santiago and needed a quiet, relaxed atmosphere to make our transition from the Camino an easy adjustment, and they succeeded. The spa was the icing on the cake from Dei.
Nothing, everything about the accommodation is superb.
The helpfulness and kindness of Liam and Dei. The rooms. The breakfast. In fact we liked everything.
I have no negative comments to make.
Warm, authentic welcome on arrival - which means a lot to a weary traveler. Perfectly appointed room and en-suite. Friendly advice Most hospitable hosts
Great staff - picked us up at bus stop and gave us an orientation to the neighborhood. Couldn't have been nicer people! Lovely house in the suburbs. Very close to bus stop; about a 25 min ride into city-center Dublin. Would definitely stay again!
Luxury and Comfort
Everything about Brookville was excellent I would stay there again so comfortable top of the range beds and linen beautiful décor. The hosts were terrific proper home form home by fr the best guest house we stayed in during our travels around all of southern Ireland fabulous better than a 5 star hotel
no negative comments all wonderful high class
Peaceful and very well equipped.
Hotel were better then I expexted. Very comfortable.
Great Irish hospitality through and through. I take my hat off to this establishment as it must be exhausting to be that warm and friendly to every guest, but these two do it with a smile. Great room and lovely facilities. Every detail catered for. Hot tub in the garden is a piece of heaven!
I really am trying hard to find fault but really there isn't one. The standard of facility and the friendly hosts at this guesthouse are a credit to their city.
We liked the warm welcome at the door, the private hot tub, the complimentary water, sparkling water, teas, coffee, and biscuits. The special note and treats for breakfast were an added bonus. We also thought the selection of videos to borrow was a nice touch. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. It was a relaxing experience. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We had a hard time finding Brookville House.
Not only was the food and atmosphere great, but the visiting Leprechaun was priceless, Both young and old were thrilled & the laughter was endless. Thanks from all our Family!!
Liam and Dee were so caring and accomdating for my sister and I, their warmth and hospitality were amazing! Staying with them was definitely one of our 2 week trip highlights! They took care of everything we needed, and made sure we had detailed information about places nearby, transportation, and great suggestions for things to do.
Liam is amazing! Very professional. Accurate guidance instructions and Great SPA
One bathroom for all of us was not enough, we are spoiled...
Liam and Dei are a lovely and most helpful couple . They could not have done anything more to make our stay perfect .
Big apartment to ourselves Wi-Fi Number of TV Channels Cleanliness Friendliness and helpfulness of staff Selection and quality of food and drink for breakfast
Bit tricky to find Bit of a walk to get bus to Marlay Park
Perfect location Awesome hottub WIFI quick and very reliable Great pub just up the road Run by a lovely couple who couldnt do enough for us
Everything- the owners Liam and Dei, the decor, outdoor access, extras in the room, especially the welcome warmth of the hosts.
Incredible. Haven't had that much fun for as long as we can remember. Mostly it's Liam and Dee.
What's not to like?
the breakfast of loam is absolutely top of the top. rooms are styllished. the garden gives a spirit to this place. dei is devoted to the persons who stop in brookville house to make them the most pleasant stay. un couple fantastique pour un endroit magique...
Both Liam and Dee work really hard to make your stay just perfect. They will try to accommodate any request if at all possible .Nothing is to much trouble.I love the beautiful breakfasts and the comfort in the bedroom is as good as any nice hotel. The Jacuzzi was amazing so used it most nights.I am booked in again for Oct and Nov.Delighted to have found this little Gem.
Having to leave got a bit to comfortable.
Very little as can be seen from above Disappointing in view of reviews
location-too remote especially if no car Accommodation in annexe remote from house comfort-room booked for two had four beds which necessitated watching T.V from bed-no need for "kitchen area" with dining table microwave etc. value for money-breakfasts very ordinary and portion allocation mean and communal tables unsatisfactory. Thick layer of decaying pine needles on conservatory breakfast room looked grubby and uninviting
We liked the friendliness of Liam, His knowledge of the area, he prepares a mean breakfast and he has many and more items to please his guests. ie jams, sauces etc. there is a full reading room with many CDs one can take to their room. Our room was made totally self sufficient if that was what we wanted. We joined the breakfast room each day and met new people.
Liam and Dei are wonderful hosts. Their advice on sightseeing, transportation, meals and pubs made our first visit to Dublin flawless. Their B&B is the best we have experienced. We will definitely return there and refer friends and family to Brookville House.
