Great rooms for the money, we were greatly impressed with the room, they were ensuite with tv, tea and coffee making facilities, right in the city centre...for 27 EUR per night per room you would be struggling to find something like this in Dublin

Location was brilliant and the staff were really friendly. For the Price it was worth the money. The shower facilities could probably do with a good scrub but they were ok. We unfortunately had an incident where someone stole some of our food but we put that down to people who were staying because to a concert and figured they must've stumbled back intoxicated. There were no incidents on any of the other nights.

I did not like the cleanliness of the rooms. Our hostel room smelled like feet. I stayed in another hostel a couple of nights before in Dublin, and although I understand that rooms with lots of bodies tend to smell, the stench from these rooms were unbearable. Also, the kitchen is a great resource for traveler,s however, not if there are not key parts of the kitchen. For example, the kitchen did not have a can opener or sharp knives for cutting vegetables. So I was forced to open a can with a butter knife (per recommendation from the receptionist). The bathroom facilites were extremely dirty and didn´t work most of the time. There was no hand soap, the hand dryers didn´t work, and toilet paper was not refilled regularly. Frankly, I wouldn´t recommend this hostel to anyone.

I specially appreciate staff's attitude since they always smiling and willing to help. The location is near city's center. The kitchen is not clean, the beds were terribly weak and hard.
