The staff were great and very helpful. The breakfast was great value for money.
I got a huge shock when I went to the bathroom for the first time and had to walk past the urinal to get to the toilet in a shared bathroom which I was not told about (being female I didn't like that at all, made me very uncomfortable) I also didn't like the times showers they were n
I cant count noise smell toilet and bathroom facilities s.g
the bathroom by the reception was nice.
the room smelled awful, and the door was not closed the entire time...this made if feel very unsafe. it seemed like some people were taking up multiple beds by just putting their stuff on it. many long-stay residents who sleep during the day. very strange place. kitchen was unusable.
It was really impossible to sleep in this kind of dormitorium, does any one can imagine to sleep in a room with 12 people during the summeer without windows without any kind of ventilation ,it was trully the hell in the earth and im not exagerated ,this kind of situation should be reported to the health authorities.
It was ok. Cheap and a place to sleep so I didn't mind.
The place was a maze and hard to navigate, needs better signs.
The state of the common room / kitchen was appaling. would not eat in it. Slaney room is very noisy with hall doors banging constantly. Room door alarm activated each time door was opened, not pleasant at all.
- Roof above your head - Wi-Fi
- Showers are placed in a cold and moldy dungeon - Constant lingering sickening smell in dormitory - Dormitory reminds me of the slumberparty scene in Schindler's List - No sockets in room - Make and break your own bed policy
Friendly staff, fine rooms
Cold area and few toilets...
Location was very convenient. It took 5 minutes on foot from O'connell street. This street is centre so that most bus (day trip bus and coach to the Dublin Airport) pick up us.
I couldn't use the Internet because of out of order. My flatmate said it had broken for a few days. Shower room was absolutely dirty.
Place very noisy wireless not available in the room For lockers u have to pay extra The price of the night was really expensive compare to the quality
Near the city center
Has some very friendly staffs, location is not bad, pretty close to major attractions.
No wifi at rooms, no free lockers, bathrooms are cold and far from the room, a lot of broken things at many places (broken shower curtains in the bathroom, missing "windows", etc.)
only elder lady was kind
window could not close cold
Great location, within walking distance of many places. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
The wifi was only available in the lobby and the bathrooms were really far away from our room. The lockers are small and cost extra to use.
The location's good. Staffs do their job though they're not very friendly.
Very noisy. The room was very dark and smelly. The shower and toilet couldn't be worse.
Shower and toilet are located in the basement, not very clean and cold.
A well known drugusing pickpocket with knife has permanent residency. Another man, homeless sneaked in when a paying customer opened door at 2 and took an empty bed. He snored horribly. Receptionist stated could sell me earplugs for 1 euro but did not want to go to room to evict him. Noisy airco was broken and full on all night. 5 C cold. small open electrics heater only in room to undo airco is safety hazard. Staff can not be trusted with money or belongings. They get 60 euro for 12 hours work. Still better than D1 next door as that one has rats and forever standing water in shower. Homeless hostel not for backpackers or tourists!
I love the common areas and the bedroom acammodations
Bad wifi service and no breakfast
