the price is great- paid 24€ per night which is cheap, and the location is handy for me in its very central position. the receptionist was friendly and i left my bags here for a few hours whilst i waited for my bus and shopped around town. the room is very ordinary indeed. there are no swipe cards here, all old fashioned keys which you must hand across to the receptionist each time you leave the hotel. you must also beep your way back in. payment was on arrival. there also seems a quite regular problem with hot water here, as last twice i've visited i have had to ask the receptionist to fix this problem and has taken a few hours..

Freindly and helpful. Bright open space for guest to meet and eat. Very close to high street airport bus and train and bus stations. The room was very small with the on suit being also on the small side in particular the shower. The tv was out of action and had been for several days a member of the staff informed me. The room had no visable heating and was on the cold side. The on street situation ment it was also quite noisey. For one of the more expensive rooms in the Hotel the room was rather dissappointing.

Very good place if you're looking for somewhere basic with easy access to main shopping area, train, bus station and other facilities like a laundry or internet cafe...the main lounge in the hostel has free Wi-Fi which is handy. Reception staff are super nice and friendly, also has facility to store luggage for guests, which is handy if you don't want to pay to store it and need to be free from lugging it around. Room was clean and well-equipped. Had asked for a double and got a triple, so was chuffed. Very basic, no frills room. Do not expect a lot as it is cheap. Shower cubicle is tiny and the door lock doesn't inspire a lot of confidence, wedged a stool against it just in case. But if staying a couple of nights max it's handy.

Very close to the city. Free wifi, although only in the downstairs area. Staff helpful. Tiny room. Curtain rod fell out of the wall when I went to draw the curtains. Lots of narrow stairs with loose carpet on them. Low headroom on the top flights of stairs.

location closed to the city center and reasonable price. Stayed in the room with no window and ventalator was broken down. Stayed there for 2 nights with no toilet light being replaced even informed the stayed upon my first day of arrival. One of the female staff was very unfriendly and given wrong info about over night stayed car park. The top floor of the hotel is stink as some traveller smoke weeds or majawana upstair and evening at the main hall, people plugging their PC and wire were all over the floor. be careful when you are walking. I think the hotel need a thoroughly Health and safety check as one day accident will happen. Not suitable for young family and children gotel.

Looooovely staff, really friendly and helpfull. :D Clean, tidy room with tea/coffee makin facility. As a hotel guest no access to a kitchen. Breakfast okay, not every day though, gets boring. Room could do with a bit of touch-up (fix up the wall paper and window) but was fine for what I neded, a place to sleep and relax. Wish there was wi-fi all over, but works fine in the lobby. Walking distance to everywhere, short walk to the Spire. Bus 747 to/from airport stops right out front the door, super nice.

Everyone, this hotel is fantastic! I cannot over recommend it enough for the price and the rooms are nice and comfortable. Dont expect five star rooms ect but - but expect a really decent hotel experience thats worth the money. Stay there! It's a great little place slap bang in the city centre.

thankfully my room was half price- so good value with regards the location of the hotel. I was looking somewhere cheap so can't complain too much :/ But I will say this- listen to the reviews on this site :) room nothing like picture- booked family room: was suppposed to be 2 singles and a double- got a grotty room with two doubles instead- like something from 70's. But as I say this room was half price so trying not to complain too much. Receptionist didn't even know where closest place was to get the dart. Could hear every noise from room above me- very little sleep all night. moral of story- do not trust pictures and expect little sleep

“I was shocked and amazed at the value for money as it was only 40 euro per night and I was surprised at how well the room was presented and the quality of the room was outstanding. I have to say the pillows were the best I have ever had! And all the staff were helpful and especially the maid who always asked if all our stuff was okay :)” Jonathan, Manchester |
