Price and location
The walls might be so tinny... could hear out even a peace of paper falling, now imagine, people talking loud in the corredor or walking in the next room!!! was hard to fall asleep back
the bed was snug, the location was good, free tea and coffee
the walls were paper thin, no free tea or coffee in communal area, no window to open
Location was good and it did have a decent ensuite
Room was cold and didn't have proper heater, there was no double glazing so could hear everything outside, hotel staff were not friendly, other hotel guests were rude and thuggish, was not worth the amount of money we paid, we could've got a decent hotel that didn't have paper thin walls for the amount of money we paid. As a young couple we were disappointed. Also check in was too late in the afternoon while checkout was too early
The staff member was kind enough to find me another room
I have a knee injury and was sent to a room on the 4th floor event after making the receptionist at the time aware. The hotel has no lift facilities, after travelling up some dodgy and narrow stairs I arrived at room 525 I believe the number was. I could not stand straight at the entrance on top of the stair so walked in hunched down(I am only 5.8) The room was full of mould a tiny TV on the wall . the window lock was actually broken and the shower room was absolutely tiny. I could touch all walls from being seated on toilet, flush was very weak and the door did not shut. I do not like the idea of handing in your room keys when leaving the building. I popped out of the hotel for a little while when I got back I complaint to the receptionist who said he needs to wait for his manager to return. I came back down around 10pm, he explained that the manager won't be returning for the day after he left, I asked what can they do for me even if he had to call him because the room was unacceptable and nothing like the images on their booking.com page. He eventually said we just built some new rooms and there may be a room free there. The only catch was he could not leave his post to show me the room and I could not look at the room by myself so blindly accept or keep current room and I was glad I accepted the new room. Miles better the initial room they try to chuck me in. The room was clean, more beds than I needed and much bigger cleaner bathroom. In the communal areas there was no atmosphere and struggled to get on to the WIFI which only works in the communal hall.
walking distance to city centre
thin walls very loud guests the whole night, room party,etc... obviously no rules of silence
Everything was fine
A pleasant surprise was that the internet worked in the room although the offer was said to exist only wifi access areas Good location close enough to downtown The friendly staff offers the possibility to leave luggage in a room dedicated
Unkempt old building smells of old and mold. a shabby room furniture - a table and a bedside stool every tiny diagonal outdated TV. Very old and narrow stairs. Soundproofing nonexistent - there is noise from other rooms. Old windows system without windows - you can hear noise from the street and go through the cold joints. heating system did not work. But I appreciate the receptionist gave me an electric heater. A makeshift bathroom very very small. You have to place your feet sink when you sit on the toilet seat. The installation of the very old sink with separate hot water faucet and cold water. You can not use hot water in this case because it is too hot. It complained that my card was debited 10 days before arrival at the location. although booking company assured me that book is free of charge. Booking is reimbursable I could not change the location as a measure of disapproval hotel policy. I think I have clarified this issue to gain confidence Booking Booking company. Lack elevator for me is not a problem, but for those lazy it's hard to climb three floors with luggage up the stairs. Aberrant retention policy room keys when you leave the hotel. That's the idea that you have to open a front door key you lacking
The hotel was nice, but more for couples or single people
only thing i liked was the location, quick walk from town
shower never warm an dribbled out, bed very very squeeky, its a slash hostel so pissed up people kicking ya doors an stuff,
Not far from the center.
Photos do not correspond with reality. There is both a hotel and a hostel and our room was at the hostel despite having booked for the hotel. Building very old. Smells bad. Room door had no lock. Low water pressure made it hard to take a shower.
The hotel provide me comfortable living environment with better value of money.
small room. broken floor and paper walls
It is near the center.
This is NOT a 3 star hotel. It's a B&B! For a few euros more you should consider staying in an apartment instead. There's no elevator and the staff don't care nor help to get your luggage upstairs.
Location was good thats about it!!
Decided to book this hotel as location was good and pictures on the site looked lovely!! But do not go by the pictures at all these are definitely not what you see when you get there!! Room was very basic no double glazing so noise from street was loud fighting and car noise all night!! Complained about a constant noise upstairs but they didnt seem bothered!! To be honest more like a hostel than hotel!! Defo wouldnt return!!
The bed was very comfortable.
Was a bit loud in 501 but I got used to it, also a bedside lamp wouldn't go too much of a miss.
hot water, lots of tea and coffee, comfy bed and very clean with lots of towels!
the room was very cold most likely due to the weather but they did provide a heater which is good!
Staff was helpful
Don't stay here, it is not a hotel but a hostel. Very bad hostel. Not clean, cheap and bad rooms, small and very noisy. Please book something else!!
the location was very central and convenient to get around and the reception staff were pleasant enough
The shower was cold. i could hear scurrying above my head in the bedroom. the window was jammed open and couldn't be closed
The only good thing is the location
Do not go ever to this hostel if I new it before I would not close a never a room in this hostel.we didn't have heating, shampoo, fridge the hot water it is not have pressure at all, the windows are old and not close good, the receptionists told us that he didn't received our emails to print our air tickets but I am sure that he received them they don't provide you an adaptor for the plugs and they told us to go outside to buy one they don'T.even know that they have in their auto seller machine in the hotel adaptors
Cold room.broken window so mor traffic noise
great for a budget and very close to center easy and accessiable
The staff are very friendly especially when I came in for the very first time! The room is absolutely fantastic, it feels like I am home with the equipment I had, iron & kettle. I will definitely return very soon! Good value for money!
The wifi area is only restricted in the reception area. No wifi area for room use, will have to go down to the reception to get wifi. The wifi signal wasn't really strong.
