We received a very warm welcome and were very well looked after. Nice quiet location.
Location exceptional and friendly hosts, clean guesthouse. Bar and restaurant service available during peak season.
Decor a little dated but clean. Breakfast service slower when guesthouse is busy however if your not in a hurry chill-out and enjoy the outside scenery!
We loved our stay at Bunbeg House for the warm welcome we received together with the food and the beautiful setting it was an excellent choice. We will be back!
The place and the quiet view. The people are friendly. Food seems freshly cooked *
the air-conditioning in the bathrooms keeping me awake all night as well as the water system being very noisy. The ought not change towels every day - environmentally unsustainable *could have a bit more flavour
Restaurant- nice food Staff friendly
Cold rooms- no heating Bed very squeaky Furniture outdated
Location, friendliness, comfortable, food fantastic, relaxing, excellent friendly staff, quiet a little oasis. Little bar handy for that 'night cap'. Decor dated but very clean. Beds were made up next day and fresh towels provided.
too many steps / stairs internally
Location was by the harbour. Quiet and pretty area. Large house with many room. Ours was very large with a delightful view.
Limited menu and small bar with no other eating facilities close by. Meals average. Wifi was shocking.
Stunning area to explore
Lack of staff at breakfast
Friendly staff and big rooms
Lovely, personal welcome from Jean, who moved us to a sea view next day as we were staying 3 nights. Andy's also very welcoming and enjoys a laugh. All staff very pleasant and nothing is a bother. The rooms are a good size with proper showers. Breakfast was made to order lovely and plentiful. We also ate dinner our first night which was lovely and the homemade apple pie was delicious. Admittedly it was a bit slow, but obviously a small kitchen and we weren't going anywhere. It's just slightly over a half mile walk into Bunbeg, which was fine. We also enjoyed a nice relaxed evening in the bar on our last night . Would recommend and would definitely return.
What's not to like!!
dinner was a bit underwelming
I found Bunbeg House to be well situated in a small fishing port. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was freshly made not kept under heat lamps.
Location, scenery, feeling at home
What's not to like?
We ate in the Bar on a number of occasions. Couldn't fault food or service.
Beautiful location. Gaeilge álainn ag an mBean an Tí! Seomra compórdach le radharc alainn agus leaba íontach.
Having to leave!
Spacious 'olde worlde' charm.
the very friendly man who ran the place, he was very helpful with giving us information.. the lovely patio outside to sit overlooking the harbour.. great big spacious rooms.
we didn't get the offer of tea/coffee on arrival like most b an bs today...
No wifi or phone signal!
Staff were lovely, location was brilliant, breakfast was delicious.
Nothing to Do with the staff but family next door were banging doors late at night .
The location was beautiful, scenery gorgeous, very peaceful and tranquil even the kids enjoyed it. Central point for sightseeing.
Wifi didn't work in our room
A very pretty location. Bunbeg House is comfortable and relaxed. We were made very welcome and felt at home. There is a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast. The breakfast room is most pleasant. It is ideal for families and when you want to get a quiet break away.
Great base to see the whole North-West area of Donegall a scenic, peaceful and beautiful area
Would I have enjoyed a pint at night
I liked the family run aspect of the house. Very friendly people that try their best to make your stay as confortable as possible. Good food and easily to enjoy a few beers at the bar with kids near by.
Place needs updated. Maybe that might spoil it? Breakfast room is nice. I must add the lady of the house is a gem as lovely welcome even to the kids!
Service isn't great at bar even when ordering food. Carpets and furniture although I'm sure clean enough. One outdated room only to recieve wifi....
