Good sized room, hospitable & freindly people, fine breakfast cooked to order, great location, good value for money.
The Wifi was not working well, I was told this was not normal, I need internet connection for my work so I will always bellache if this "included" service is naff.
Location for a get away from it all. The owners were a lovely and welcoming couple. The breakfast was leisurely and options were good, made to order.
Definitely need a car to get to the village as the walk is quite long.
The breakfast served was to die for! Real good friendly conversation!
Our stay was top notch. The facility was amazing as was the service.
I can't give much of an opinion as we never got checked in. After waiting, ringing the bell, saying Hello in a loud voice no one came to check us in so after 20 odd minutes we left and checked in elsewhere. I rang your team and I hope (as they promised) to contact Bunbeg House to ensure we were not charged for not turning up.
Breakfast was tasty but presentation, organisation of same very poor Price was reasonable
dark outdated surroundings dirty outdated carpets narrow steep stairway blood stain on bedspread! tiny outdated tv wifi only available in lounge moulded oranges in breakfast display
I was travelling with my Dad- it was the perfect get away and a great location from which to explore the wilds of Donegal. Breakfast was delicious and our hostess was very warm and welcomming!
We probably should have checked prior to booking but we arrived just as the season closed. It was a little bit difficult to find somewhere to eat and the bar in the B&B was closed. For future reference it might be helpful to include this on the website for end of season bookings.
beautiful location very peaceful & relaxing.
no bar or restaurant facilities as out of season which i did'nt realise when booking.
Great location and comfortable room
Lack of service. Sorely missed having someone front of house to make us feel welcome, help us with any queries, plans about what do in area. Also, waiting staff at breakfast were thin on the ground and if asked for something, went away and promptly forgot about it.
Location - very pretty and peaceful
A lot of steep steps - would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems; breakfast choice limited.
had to queue for breakfast one morning
Great location. Quiet area. Easy-going atmosphere. Plenty of parking space.
Facilities and decor dated. Stairs difficult to negotiate. Very limited breakfast choices. Staff seemed too busy to give information about locality. Didn't feel very welcome.
Breakfast choice was good, fry was great (bacon :) ). Staff were very friendly but service was slow at times. We and the dog were made to feel very welcome by owner.
Waiting for coffee at breakfast, filter coffee machine in room would solve this. Issues with internet, poor WiFi coverage and no replies to queries by e-mail.
Love he area
They closed the restaurant and bar for the winter, but it was still August.
We received a very warm welcome and were very well looked after. Nice quiet location.
Location exceptional and friendly hosts, clean guesthouse. Bar and restaurant service available during peak season.
Decor a little dated but clean. Breakfast service slower when guesthouse is busy however if your not in a hurry chill-out and enjoy the outside scenery!
We loved our stay at Bunbeg House for the warm welcome we received together with the food and the beautiful setting it was an excellent choice. We will be back!
The place and the quiet view. The people are friendly. Food seems freshly cooked *
the air-conditioning in the bathrooms keeping me awake all night as well as the water system being very noisy. The ought not change towels every day - environmentally unsustainable *could have a bit more flavour
Restaurant- nice food Staff friendly
Cold rooms- no heating Bed very squeaky Furniture outdated
Location, friendliness, comfortable, food fantastic, relaxing, excellent friendly staff, quiet a little oasis. Little bar handy for that 'night cap'. Decor dated but very clean. Beds were made up next day and fresh towels provided.
too many steps / stairs internally
Location was by the harbour. Quiet and pretty area. Large house with many room. Ours was very large with a delightful view.
Limited menu and small bar with no other eating facilities close by. Meals average. Wifi was shocking.
Staff ignored us at the bar when wanting to order drinks and meal Took some time for staff to respond to the bell in reception Didn't pass the towel test in as much as they were bath towels rather than bath sheets
Location and meeting college friends
Arrived and told no room in bunbeg house and told to walk over to an overspill house. Therefore no wifi had to go out in bad weather to get to communal facilities. Breakfast very poor - grilled tomatoes - were microwaved ........
Small B&B taking about 35 guests with rickety stairs with small steps inside between floors, good sized adequate rooms, breakfast and little bar. No modern facilities apart from wifi in reception area - close to Bunbeg village and few miles from Bloody Foreland. One of the few areas still using the Irish language
My wIfe thought it was too old fashioned and we waited a long time for our full breakfast to be served
Stunning area to explore
Lack of staff at breakfast
