Bunratty Castle Hotel    

Rymligt, bekvämt, bra parkering och faciliteter i omgivningen. Bra ethernet på rummet.

Dålig TV mottagning och svagt utbud.

Great location and with the shopping village close by if you're leaving from the Shannon airport is great for last minute, "oh, I should've bought this" gifts. Castle view and pub close by were one of the best parts of our visit to Emerald Isle. We will be back! Thanks for the memories.

We requested a different after we checked in, they provided immediately and it was an upgrade. Superb staff, great facilities and at superb price. I will return.

Put me on third floor. Elevator was not operational during my full stay (2 nights) inspite of their assurance that it would be fixed the afternoon of my arrival. Very long walk to my room and no voluntering off assistance with my luggage. To busy

We have stayed at this hotel three times, enjoying and castle and folk park and activities. This is a very comfortable hotel in a quiet countryside location. Really all there is to Bunratty is the castle and folk park, some shopping, one or two pubs and some other hotels--very quiet and beautifully leafy.

No help with bags--indeed no one around except one person on reception trying to help people, check others in, answer the phone. Seemed short-staffed--much more help on previous visits.

Great staff, great food lovely common areas

The room decor is good quality but a little tired but great bed and good sized rooms!

No one to help with luggage. Elevator too small.

Fabulous hotel, worth the money, staff were lovely, rooms were big, clean, very warm and comfortable.

Electricity box was loud. Check out could have been a bit later.

First person from Hotel we met was receptionist and she was most helpful and made us feel very welcome. The hotel room was nice and warm whilst breakfast was good. As we were attending our sons wedding we found our 3 night stay very enjoyable. When I looked for availability of podium for speeches the gentleman in charge was most courtous and helpful in acquiring one.

I cannot state that any part of our stay was not enjoyable and met all our needs.

The large beds

Needs to be modernised. Breakfast wasn't great

1)Restaurant very good & decently priced! A bit of a wait though. 2) Staff was friendly and accommodating. 3) Very nice hotel with wonderful spa/work out club. 4) Close to Bunratty Castle (fun!) & the airport 5) Staff did good job cleaning the room each day. 6) Hotel itself very nice looking ~ inviting fire place and seating in the lobby.

1) We were placed in a room that had a clogged sink. 2) That room was VERY small.... On a good note: the staff @ front desk was very prompt to come and help us and moved us to a new room which was a lot more roomy and with a working sink. 3) Water took a long time to heat up in the bathtub/shower 4) Hot tub @ the health club was not very hot....just "warm" & had you could feel cool jets of water running with no way to turn those off or to make the hot tub "hot" 5) No clock in the room

We went to the Medieval Banquet which was brilliant. Then spent our time between the local pubs by the hotel and the bar in the hotel.

The weather wasn't great but were used to that being from England. There was nothing I didn't like.

Did not like the fact the steam room was out of order for three out of four nights

Staff are friendly; rooms are well furnished and clean; and the food is excellent

Had a lovely weekend. Staff were very friendly. Room and rest of the hotel was spotless. Can't wait to visit again.

friendly, good service - attended wedding reception

my room was overhead the residents bar, did not sleep. too noisy.

Liked the staff, friendly and accommodating throughout 2 day stay. Room service was the slowest I've ever experienced, although apology was offered it should have been deducted from bill as it was extreme delay and ruined some of my plans.

Breakfast was awful. Went for full Irish and left it almosr untouched as it tasted like rubber and selection was very poor. Couldn't get any of the limited spa/beauty treatments over 2 days.

The staff were extremely friendly, and the food was good.

The room was too hot, I woke several times during the night.

The Staff...excellent, helpful at all times.

I could not turn down the heat in my room...129. The temperature in the room was uncomfortably hot...and I was forced to open the window as far as it would go, in order to get some sleep...which is a terrible waste of energy. I spoke with other guests.(reason for staying was a family wedding)...and those on the ground floor also had an uncomfortable night but those on the top floor found their room rather cool. Also, altho I made a booking for a double room,many months in advance - I still have the booking form - I was given a twin room, as far away from reception as was possible,..is this how solo traveller's are treated..? Relatives who had only booked during the month of December, were given rooms close to reception, and thus much nearer the function room where the wedding party was held.

Really friendly staff and a lovely spacious room.

The hotel is very nice the hotel menu ok if you like italian , not a lot to do when you have visited the few shops around the hotel unless you are a walker
