The staff of the hotel made this a very pleasant place to stay. It is very well located for Shannon Airport with good facilities. Our room was very comfortable and any problems were quickly dealt with We were unfortunate to have our car robbed whilst in the car park car park cameras would have helped. The resturant was only open for breakfast and we would have liked to eat in the hotel |

The location was easily accessible and central for touring. The hotel was in dire need of refurbishment, whilst the bed linen and towels were clean, the general appearance of the rooms and public areas was dated and neglected, our bedroom had a hole in the wall, the bathroom was grimy in places with several chips in the bath enamel. The bar was only open once during our stay and the restaurant was never open in the evening and not always open in the mornings for breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly when approached but otherwise did not interact with guests. |

Comfortable clean accommodation, very attentive well mannered staff,an excellent venue for a wedding reception. Staying in house No.5 very comfortable and very clean, however room maintenance could do with some attention. A headboard that lacked a fixing screw, Bedside lamps which had loose stems, a table mirror, broken mounting,a hotwater tap (front upstairs b/room)which was loose and tended to turn round when in use!, a dining chair with a broken back all small items which with a little attention faults which could be eliminated with very little effort. |

The Location, it's near Bunratty Castle. It was quiet and peaceful and had a nice swimming pool for children. Staff were a little dissinterested, I was told to go to Dirty Nellies to eat when the bar at the hotel served food. |

Very pleasent and helpful staff. Room was on the ground floor, spacious, in good condition and warm. Was dreading what it was going to be like after reading some of the reviews. Resturant closed in evening. Ensuite was not as clean as it could be. Lovely staff, in great location, seriously needs to be updated and could be a great money spinner! |

location was very old and not updated....when we walked the hall we saw that some rooms were updated, but definately not ours. both nights my husband woke up at 3am and said "I hate this hotel" and he isn't even picky! bad beds, old carpet, bad bath. our guess is this will be shut down based on new places opening nearby. |

The health centre was included in the price and the staff there were quite friendly The hotel is in dire need of an update. The room was quite shabby, with handles falling off doors, etc.. No information pack in the room, found out after arrival that the restaurant was not open. Wasn't expensive, so expectations weren't very high to start with. |

very comfortable, with courteous and helpful staff. there was no information of any kind in the rooms. we got to breakfast at 10.10 on the last morning to be told that we were too late! we could have avoided this had there been the applicable reading material at our disposal. |

I really enjoyed the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. Fantastic. The only complaint I have is about the cleanliness of the rooms. There was hair on the bathroom walls, and the toilet was not clean. The valance sheet was completely under the matress, just one corner hanging out which was visible. There was also cabwebs on the lights. However, the staff was very good and the location of the hotel is fantastic. |

We were flying out the next day so we stayed at Bunratty SS because it was near the airport, on the bus route and quiet, unlike Shannon or Limerick (noise wise) plus one last view of old Ireland - the Castle need longer shower curtains |
