Staff on reception can be too busy with just a couple of guests, always appeared to be one member on duty.
Was very happy with everything. Great hotel.Nothing negative.
Great beds. Nice local charm
Half of hotel updated last year. Our room still needed to be done, scheduled for this fall or next spring. Our carpets and bathroom tile somewhat worn, but still nice enough. I would stay here again next time.
Night porter not overly friendly
big problem w. the tub/shower
Off site parking paid for by Buswells but a bit of a walk down side alley. Rear access would have felt safer.
Cannot fault this hotel, the location is excellent as it is central to everything. Staff and service is excellent, had lunch in hotel bar and it was one of the best I've had recently and also it was very good value for money.
-Very friendly and helpful staff -Generous sized room -Great location
-glasses in room were not clean. -noise from street (had to keep window open cause room was too warm
Rooms have no AC. Street noise (cars & buses) can be quite loud.
Close to shopping. Staff was very good.
Rooms were very small and we had a view of a wall.
Location is great. Staff are really helpful, generous with their time
The single room is very small
The lounge area and reception area for meeting visitors. The central location for shopping and sightseeing.
The rooms are a bit small but that is because it is an older centrally-located hotel.
The location, the friendliness of the staff and the general ambience of Buswell's Hotel.
Staff in the dining room were good they listened and then delivered the goods (like HOT toast) Antonio Carluccios just around the corner. Central location.
Bar staff and food was excellent. The rooms are small but comfortable. The dining room experience this time was not as good as on 2 previous occasions, as some of the menu was not available.
Dining room experience this time. Noise outside windows when trying to sleep but then this is Dublin central!
The Pub, the bar, their conviviality mixing politicos, with ladies coming in for tea, World Cup fans, and the usual mix-and-gather-em of visitors Dubliners with tourists. The location: you cannot beat being across from the Daíl, the Museum, the Library, and down the street from Stephen's Green.
a computer bag I stored in the luggage room must have been tossed about because it was returned to me with a small punctured hole. The computer too was knocked about as well. No harm done, but something was off in the lack of care and attention.
location... in the middle of everywhere... walking distance... personnel _Ann at the restuarant especially_
room to small... a/c noise... elevator problem...
Close to everything
No air conditioning
Above all it was location. Almost unbeatable.
Lack of A/C in rooms. Windows had to be open round the clock. Imagine then street cleaning machines at 8 o'clock on Saturday morning...
The service was first class, the staff very friendly and the restaurant/bar meals were superb.
Location good Food was excellent Breakfast very good, and served to the table. This was a nice old fashioned touch, and suits the Hotel very well. Don't change this! Staff were friendly and helpful Furnishings and surroundings were comfortable and welcoming Bedroom was very clean and presentable. Bottled water was supplied......a nice touch
Staff where very helpful and friendly, but were not up to speed about on street parking At check out, we were not asked did we enjoy our stay, or had we any comments
Staff friendly, helpful & professional Great location for getting around Dublin
No air conditioning pity as room lovely but quite warm even with windows open
no personal key very hot and stuffy pricey for small 8x9 room narrow hallways uncomfortable bed
The good and service was great
The beds were a bit hard
