Butler Arms Hotel

It is lovely and quiet, even though beside the road, didn't hear a thing! The bed was massive and so comfortable. The room was huge and I was able to move my wheelchair from one side of the room to the other (That's how big it is). The staff were friendly and a lovely friendly atmosphere between staff and management. Nothing was too much bother, and I appreciated having tea in my room. Adored this hotel, want to go back any time.

The disabled bathroom wasn't! The bath was a huge issue and the shower I didn't attempt. As discussed with Paula I gave her a number of pointers that would be needed to make the bathroom a disabled friendly room. The bath and shower must go, spent 30 minutes trying to get out of it, the number to call in an emergency wasn't obvious, the phone in the bathroom was too high and would never be reached if on the floor etc. A walk-in bath, a floor level shower with handrails and a seat. I loved the idea of having a bath in the luxury of the room and only my husband was with me I would still be there! However the staff were brilliant in helping with the situation and the management was quick in their response when brought to their attention.

It was good value for price we paid. The hotel could do with a bit of work to improve the look but rooms were large and well equipped and the attached bar was a good night

tehy were very friendly and it is a geat location for watervill golf club.

Onze kamer was zéér groot en gezellig met een prachtige badkamer met bad en douche en badjas. Het hotel heeft een gemoedelijk familiaal karakter, ondanks het verblijf van VIPs. De ligging, tussen de zeebaai en het meer, maakt van Waterville een aantrekkelijke verblijfplaats.
