Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Great location. Nice reception rooms. Our room was very small and dark. The bed frame was awkwardly sticking out so we couldn't avoid being hit by it getting no in /out of bed. The Bathroom toiletries were no replaced on the 2nd night. There was tea or coffee making facilities in the room so you were dependent on staff offering you some. A biscuit should have been provided with the tea also. Our Tv remote control didn't work. Old house so it has no lifts for those with heavy luggage.

The staff Is very friendly. The hotel's location is perfect: situated in a quiet neighbourhoud with good public transport nearby. We had a pleasant stay in this hotel, but it is definitely not a four star hotel. Rooms have no luxurious elements, room is very small, beds are hard, bed sheets and blankets worn and torn, bathroom old, cleaning minimal.

The staff were very very welcoming and couldn't seem to do enough for you, they made everything very comfortable above and beyond the call of duty. Rooms were lovely, (we were a party of 3 couples) beds comfortable and the lounge a great p[lace to sit and have coffee/tea while regrouping for further sorties into Dublin

Keiran was exceptionally nice/helpful with our luggage, dinner reservations, tea service and he made the hotel shine The beds were comfortable but being a clean freak I was unhappy with the state of the bed covers. Could have used a wash or dry clean

We have stayed here a couple of times and plan to return in the very near future. Located in a nice part of Dublin that offers a leisurely walk into the city as long as your not in a hurry, our weekend breaks to Butlers Town House are for destressing from a hectic and busy lifestyle....perfect for this

Completely exceeded my expectations, we had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Very warm welcome, all the staff are very welcoming and helpful with lots of smiles. I stayed with a friend and intend on returning - the beds are so comfortable! Also nice quiet road. We took the 16 A form the airport - a few euros each and then got dropped off outside another hotel not far away too walk. We didn't walk into town but it doesn't seem far, we walked some of it to get on one of the tour buses. Great location, fantastic service and staff and very comfortable beds. I always read the reviews before booking anywhere and trawled through lots until I found this one, so pleased, you can't go wrong, trust me! Thank you Only couple of points, The only thing missing was a kettle and tea / coffee facilities in our room. We thought we were missing a hairdryer too but found it in the wardrobe on second night. The shower leaked quite badly in our room (The Carberry??) and left an increasingly larger puddle on the floor after each shower, we informed them at recpetion on leaving, they said they would look into it. We had a drink in the LIbrary and saw they had champagne on the menu and decided to treat ourselves, however, it turns out it isn't champagne they have, it's an Asti, so check prior to ordering.

Staying at Butlers is like staying in a luxury family home. Cecilia and staff could not be more helpful and welcoming. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, location is excellent, five minutes walk to the Dart station and ten minutes to shops, restaurants and pubs.

Butlers Townhouse is not your typical box of a hotel. It has charm because it is based upon a large Dublin townhouse with some nice period features. It is not the most luxurious but it met our expectations well. The service from Ciaran and Cecila was above expectations. The breakfast was also very good with the hot breakfast cooked per your order. THe morning staff were also nice. Generally the location is near the Dart and is a good 15-20 minutes stroll to Grafton street. I have to say we enjoyed our stay and will definately return now that we have a base we know of. Parking can be slightly problematic but Cecelia was very helpful hee for us. Besides that nothig to worry about.
