This beautiful, restored farmhouse is surrounded by scenic farmland, offering spacious rooms with countryside views. Guests can enjoy horse riding, tennis, and home-cooked breakfasts sourced from the farm itself. Each room at Cahergal Farmhouse includes an en suite bathroom with power shower, and hairdryer. Some rooms include a king-size bed, and guests can relax with a TV in the room. Some rooms also overlook the Fergus River. Breakfasts are served in the bright and airy dining room overlooking the rose garden and ancient stone walls. Freshly cooked, full Irish breakfasts are available, along with an extensive breakfast menu. Horse riding is available on-site with qualified instructors, and walking tours of the farm and surrounding countryside can be arranged. We arrived a little late in the evening but Noreen gave us a warm welcome and showed us around. We stayed in the family bedroom which had one room with two single beds connected to a room with a double bed. We were very comfortable. We rode horses the next morning and Micheal and their two sons helped us and we went on a tour of the farm. The family was great, the food tastey, and the accommodations very comfortable.

Short distance from Shannon airport. Central to family connections in Co Clare. Noreen (owner) is very welcoming with tea and cake! Comfortable rooms and last but not least the views are breathtaking ! nothing

Cahergal Farmhouse was wonderful in every way. The house and its setting is beautiful. The location was excellent, only 15 minutes from the Shannon airport and close to Newmarket on Fergus town center. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped, with up to date furnishings and baths. The host and hostess were friendly, telling stories of the house and it's history. They provided us with coffee and tea upon arrival and left us a lovely breakfast as we had to leave at 5:00 am to catch our flight. This is a wonderful place to relax, with lovely spaces to curl up with a book, or stroll through the countryside. I liked everything about Cahergal Farmhouse.

Stayed a very short time but found the location especially proximity to Shannon airport a real plus. Grounds are beautiful. Had to leave very early in the AM for a flight-- so appreciated the fact that Noreen packed us some scones and bread for our wait at the airport.

Cahergal Farmhouse B&B is a stunning property in a beautiful setting, surrounded by bright green pastureland with cows. The room was absolutely lovely, with very comfortable beds. Mrs. McInerney was a delightful hostess! Breakfast included her delicious home-made scones and brown bread. We loved staying there and plan to go back!

Noreen, the owner and host, is wonderful. She is friendly and goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcome. The farmhouse is lovely, as are the grounds. It's not terribly convenient to find, but worth the effort.

This is a grand country estate and working horse and sheep farm, about five miles from Shannon in a peaceful and lovely area. The owners are gracious, personable, helpful,and interesting and the breakfast offerings were delicious. The estate has been in the family for over five generations. Best to have a car since it is a bit in the country, but a great place to stay...especially if coming into or going out of Shannon. We stayed two nights and would definitely stay again.

This is a wonderful oasis about 10 miles north of Shannon airport. Noreen is a great hostess. She even rose early to prepare a great breakfast for our group before our early airport departure. Highly recommend this b&b in a bucolic pastoral setting,

There were literally 3 television stations and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. In the middle of nowhere, that is frustrating because there is nothing else to do at night.

The staff was friendly and informative. The location was set in the middle of a working farm with beautiful views in all directions. It was immaculate, with modern well-equipped rooms. We would return again. The family also has a large 500 year old cottage on the property that has been completely redone, sleeps ten and was available by the week or month. It would be great for a large family or group of friends. Nothing... All was excellent.

I thought the owner was very friendly. The room was very comfortable with a nice big bathroom. The views around the B&B are lovely. There was no soap in the bathroom.
