Loved the location--beautiful view (ask for room #1); great spot on Ring of Kerry. Cereal/toast breakfast included, but all kitchen facilities available to prepare your own food. No one there from about noon to 7:30, so you have to call them or wait. No tea/coffee making facilities in room

The location is beautiful. The owners were helpful and friendly. The sheets were extremely damp. Caitins is a hostel not a B&B and should price their accommodation accordingly.

I booked for a hostel and, because it was January and there were no other guests, the owner very graciously gave me a lovely, well equipped three room apartment. The weather.

I liked the fact that it is situated on a cliff, facing the Ocean and Dingle's peninsula. Unfortunately it was rainning in the morning, when we left, and already night when we arrived, so we didn't get to enjoy the view. At night, there's a bar on the ground floor. I sleep as a stone and I was so tired that it didn't even bother me. But travelers must admitir the possibility of sharing laughter and a drink with the people from the bar.

Caitins was very welcoming from the minute my family and I walked through the door, nothing was a problem for the owners. The food was fantastic and not too expensive. We even enjoyed a few pints and even had a dance to the traditional music playing that night. nothing, could not fault the place.

The common areas was just like actually living within a home with a family. Making a great effort towards being eco-friendly. Most waste is recycled and the light fittings are low energy consumption. Unfortunately the TVs wherent connected but a common TV was available in the common area sitting room.

I liked the diy approach to breakfast and facilities. Free to come and go as you wish with no interference. Jack is lovely and the place is comfortable with no pressures. Locals use the pub and there is a sense of communit attached to Caitan's.

The view from out the front is fantastic and the beds are very comfortable. Good value for money. It is not staffed until 7.30pm so you need to have a phone with you to call them to get in before that time

Caitin's was in a perfect position for our tour around The Ring of Kerry. The views across the water were beautiful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. With the hotel below, it was a little noisy until midnight but otherwise no complaints.
