THE STAFF WERE FANTASTIC.
Great location. Friendly staff. The room was a nice size and comfortable. We liked being able to sit in club chairs to watch tv or have a cup of tea. The kettle was greatly appreciated.
The car parking was quite difficult and a little walk from hotel down a very dirty street at side of the hotel The breakfast was just ok!
Hotel was very clean, comfortable, staff very helpful, room very classical looking which we loved, very warm and cosy room. Everything we needed was also in room, such as iron, hairdryer etc. Absolutely lovely, relaxing stay xx
Only one little complaint, two single beds joined together to make a King size, makes a horrible dip in middle, needed one of those need connector things !!!!???? So felt like one bed! :But matress was comfortable
Staff and room size
My credit card was held. 400 euro was taken although my partner paid in full on departure. I'm still waiting 3 days later for this deposit of 400 euro to be refunded.
Reception staff super.
a cleaner knocked on our bedroom then enter it around 8am whilst we were in bed.
Staff were great, and always a great service. Great location and good value for money.
Excellent location, very attentive staff, impressive building, nice rooms, good breakfast.
The car park is AWFUL!! It is not owned by the hotel but they claim it is the only one available to them. It is a fair walk away down a rough looking street. You drive into the car park and have to use an old car lift to access the damp and dusty underground parking area (it looks semi-derilict)...the only pedestrian exit is by narrow staircase - not much use if you have big cases and a baby buggy!
Convenient for galleries, museums, pubs and restaurants. Our room was a good size and was quiet and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was fine.
Location is very convenient.
Breakfast choice, although the quantity was sufficient, was limited. Incorrect invoice at departure but was only noticed by me at time I was at home.
The location was great. The food and service in the bar was wonderful, very tasty. Free WiFi was great as well
Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Bed was too hard and had to lie on the duvet to sleep. Pillows were too flat, not the type I would expect in a 4 star hotel.
No atmosphere . Bar empty . Low ceilings and very old fashioned . In need of makeover . Has potential . Staff friendly and helpful
The staff was excellent and very helpful. The food in the bar was very good. The rooms were spacious with lots of storage and the bed was especially comfortable.
The hot water wasn't working a couple of mornings which was difficult.
Lovely ,huge & sunny room.
Room service tarrifs are pricey
Really central location but yet tucked away in a nice little area. Staff are truly first class. Found ourselves in a bit of a predictament - car keys lost. Lucia and Edit were so helpful in trying to help us with the situation. They truly tried everything possible, including making us laugh. All staff at this hotel are friendly, approachable and so helpful. The rooms are really large and have the most comfortable beds. Good power shower in the bathroom. Food in the President's Bar is of a high standard. I like the feel of this hotel so welcoming and cosy. Car parking is just to the side of the hotel in Fenian Street. Ring reception beforehand as you need a key code to enter.
There is not one thing I could say I did not like.
Comfortable,reasonably sized room
decor a little"jaded and faded" in places
For a city centre hotel is good enough. Would be most suitable if you are planning a night out and not going to be in the hotel for long. Beds are very comfy
Overpriced, would not stay here for a relaxing break as you can hear everything going on downstairs if they have a function on. For the rates available the rooms are outdated and in need of some simple repairs. You can get a more upscale hotel for the same price
Hotel is in an excellent location in Dublin City Centre. The staff were very nice & accomdating. Would definitely stay here again.
Rooms were nice, however a little dated, as was the bathroom.
Nice cosy hotel, friendly staff, comfortable room. Would recommend.
Central location perfect for exploring the city. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The location was great, so close to everything but at the same time it was so quiet and peaceful that it was hard to believe I was staying in the middle of a capital city.
The only thing I didn't like was that the breakfast was overpriced and it was not economical to avail of it. I was able to get breakfast at half the price five minutes away from hotel. It makes a stay at a hotel more homely to avail of breakfast in it so I was disappointed that it was not more reasonably priced.
Great location, super staff: friendly & helpful, comfy bed, high pressure shower.
Breakfast was terrible: expensive at €15, bitter, stewed coffee and the hot food was kept tepid too long. The pillows were thin, hard and uncomfortable.
Comfortable hotel, friendly staff, great location
Location is good
Understaffed ? On checking in no one to help with bags, felt staff too busy to actually make you feel welcome Needs a refurb getting tatty
