Cost - but this was due to the events taking place in Dublin on this weekend that we did not know about prior to booking flights.

A charming and nice hotel in the city centre

The bed was too weak and I get up with a terrible back pain.

Having to fork out €10 for wifi was bad enough but being asked to pay almost €2 for a cd on the sound system really takes the biscuit.

Staff were friendly. Rooms were comfortable.

Rooms were very comfortable with good decor. One member of staff was excellent.

Breakfast wasn't included in the price. One member of staff was grumpy.

We got the hotel at a really good price and the location is great if you are going out and about in Dublin city.

Bedroom was really hot at night, the aircon didn't seem to make any difference but we were only staying one night so it wasn't a problem. The coffee available in the room is terrible, tastes really cheap and nasty but again it's only a minor thing.

For 40 euros a night for a double room in the city centre the hotel is incredible value. Its centrally located, 5 minute walk to the bottom of grafton st. The hotel itself is clean, and nicely decorated. To me it seemed like a hotel that would be around twice as expensive as what we paid.

One small complaint is that the windows in the room were old single glazed windows and so there was some street noise, but this wasn't a big problem for us.

Fantastic value for money. Beautiful room in an easily accessible location.

No overnight parking in nearby area. Had to take taxi to and from a car park.

Location and price. Very handy if you're coming by train - literally 2 minute stroll to Pearse St. Station. Also, very close to the National Gallery, National History and Natural History museums. Staff seemed fine, although bar check in/out we had no dealings with them. We got a half price deal of e50 for a double room. However, I wouldn't have paid the full price for this hotel.

Hotel rooms are extremely dated and shabby. Our bed was unbalanced due to several missing coasters/ wheels. The wardrobe door was broken, and the tv didn't work properly! We were hardly in the room as we were up for a show and a night out. It was fine for what we wanted but if you;re planning on spending any time at all in your room, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Location is great for Trinity and shopping - Hotel is warm and comfortable

Check-In was poor - too half an hour and I was the only one there - they couldn't find my booking as had gone through central reservations?? Very pretty receptionist but absolutely no eye contact and no explanation for a while why slow check in - dissappointing contact with staff - lighting very poor in bathrooms and bedrooms for reading and putting on make-up - noisy road all night outside -
