Staff very welcoming and helpful. In the centre of a vibrant and exciting area of the City.
Lack of space in room for our needs and very noisy, from outside sources, during the night.
Helpful staff, cheapest place in Dublin (which doesn't mean it was cheap)
Impossible to sleep even with state of the art earplugs. Not just the all-night disco but a procession of rubbish trucks with flashing lights and beeping noises. Bed springs coming loose. Bit of a dodgy looking area.
Very kind and helpful staff, free tea and coffee, big kitchen, friendly place for young people
Loud music on the street till late (Wednesday night)
Shower in private bathroom was good pressure
The music coming from the club close by, even though it wasn't was even a weekend.
Friendly and helpful staff Great equipped kitchen Right by the bus no. 16 from the airport
Nice atmosphere, clean, cheap.
Great place for young people. Well located with a lot of offers to socialize. The staff was superfriendly and helpful.
A bit noisy but you find free earplugs at the reception.
Definitely the best was the staff - really helpful and polite. Great experience!
Little bit noisy, but you kind of expect that in the hostel.
Convenience Reasonably priced Good opportunity to meet other travelers
Rooms a bit cramped to accomodate 6 people
Reception is perfect The amosthere is cool Everyone is well educated The room was big and new.
The bed wasn't comfortable and the club in front of the room was too noisy.
Second time staying here, great for a night out as is beside some good bars, if you want somewhere just to throw the head after a night it's the best value in the whole of Dublin, will def use again
Hostel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, luggage holding area, good room for family traveling with 4 young adults.
No towels which we were unaware of when we booked, very noisy location at night- near a bar that had very loud music until 5am
The staff is too many details and easygoing. It is well comunicated by walk. The bed is really confortable and the atmosphere is good feeling
The comments on Booking.com were positive, so we chose that hostel. Had we realised that they were written by people under 25 willing to sleep anywhere, we would have chosen another place. The only furniture in our room was the bed: no chair, table, etc. Not even a hanger or a hook for the clothes. But the worst part is that the other clients were noisy: loud conversations at night as if it was in the afternoon. I had to get up at 3:30 AM to ask three people to hold their conversation somewhere else. Again, when I was 20 years old that kind of place suited me. But if you look for a quiet, comfortable place, avoid the Times Hostel.
friendly staff and warm atmosphere.
prices of rooms, that the noise from dicey rileys was terrible, did not get a wink of sleep the whole night. the rooms are basic for the price you pay for a double room. get real .
I loved the common area, there was always someone playing guitar or singing some song. There was always conversation of some sort. The staff was helpful and friendly and the hostel was within a two minutes walk from several bars and restaurants. The company in the hostel was just great all around.
My room was a bit dark and depressing.. I think that's just because this is Ireland and it rains nonstop though!
The times was great. Great staff, good people, helpful, very good breakfast for less money. Good location. Free city tour.
The beds were only a bit uncomfortable.
Great location near Stephens Green
Very noisy dance club nearby closes at 3am and partying then continues in street outside hostel till 5am.
It was a well equipped hostel with a good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.
It backs onto a courtyard shared by a nightclub that revs up after the other pubs/bars close and is hammering till 5:00 am, then discharges its clientelle noisily into the early morning as the sun is coming up for the rest of us.
It was centrally located and was comfortable enough.
lovely clean bedroom, very nice bathroom. didnt feel like a hostel at all. good to stay for a night.
could hear a lot of noise, coppers nightclub is nearby, also no tv in room
The location is the only good thing
Noisy. Very noisy. Screami g and shoyting all night long in the street and in the hostel. Private rooms were too poor... Not even a wardrove or a chair or any place to leave the clothes... I know this is a hostel but there should be more differences between shared and private rooms than the prize...
Activities every night such as ice cream or dinner. Knowledgable receptionist,
Walls were way too thin. We barely got any sleep the entire week we stayed there.
