The manager was really helpful and ready to solve the problems we had during our stay.
Wi-fi was out of order from time to time so sometimes I could not get access to the internet. The staff promised to solve the problem, but it was still very shaky. There is a night club and lots of pubs around so it can get a bit noisy especially on Friday night.
The friendliness of staff and other travellers.
I wasn't there long enough to find anything. it was quite a walk to town.
Great staff Every day there's some kind of activity so it's nice if you want to socialize
Strangely the wifi stopped working every night
There are so many grat people and staff. Great livin room with board games and kitchen :) love it!
Pillow! And no chair or some night table or shelf in the room. But still it was good.
easy walking distance to everything you get what you pay for
wifi kept dropping out pillows are very thin
clean overall,great area,nice people!
The private bathroom and the staff of course !!! ^^
heummmmm ... Maybe nothing ? ^^
no area for parking...
very friendly, uncomplicated, kitchen is brilliant, a good place to stay for a view days, I'd come again :)
the area around is a bit noisy (but it was ok) and the hostel is not so easy to find
All are pleasant and smiling.
WiFi often cut, No oven.
Kindness of staff
the bed is not very good and it was very cold in the bathroom.
Location with drunk people screaming infront of the hostel every night. And after spend a week,i was told that i can only stay there not more than 2 week cos of some new rule which is not tell on their website.
location next to luas, short walk from grafton st
* the location , really not far from the city center. no need of taking bus or tramway * price
* the advertising was wifi everywhere, even in the rooms. It is not accurate, I stayed 5 days, didn't get the wifi in my room, only in the common areas. * heating was not enough warm * beds are not changed every day but eh, for that price, what to expect?
Friendly staff. Homely atmosphere Free Tea and coffee all day and night. Other residents friendly. Clean
The mattress was a bit springy. Couldn't watch T.V in a quiet place as people sitting at a table in front of it talking.. Could have been warmer at night. People shouting on the street outside hostel late at night
This is by far the best hostel in Dublin. I've spent the past 3 months hostel jumping around Dublin. And it's amazing. It's the nicest hostel I've stayed in my whole time in Dublin. Generator hostel doesn't even come close. But the staff is very, very nice, the kitchen is always clean, everything is always clean. The common room was a bit drafty. But. It was open, welcoming, and clean. Even the inhabitants of the hostel semmed to be nicer here. It's not the Ritz Carlton. But. It's an amazing value for your money. Also, unlimited coffee and hot chocolate. Free dinner on Wednesday, free sangria on the weekend. It's a traveling 20 something's paradise.
It's a LITTLE out of the way, and sort hard to find. But that's really it.
Staff were nice and helpful. If I go back to Dublin I might go back to this hostel.
Good location. They did something different every night for people who were staying there, though I didn't take advantage of that. Really lovely staff.
The communal areas were a bit awkwardly laid out, and it might be helpful to have a bit more signposting around.
Proximity to the city center, Relatively cheap, Security guard, Lockers
A bit cold sometimes, Charge for towel, no Shower soap, 10.30 checkout
Convenient location, helpful and friendly staff, possibility to buy a package tour (3 options), well-equipped kitchen, cleanliness, computer room (regretted having taken my heavy laptop with me) You might need an adapter if you have a European plug. UK adapters work well
Rooms were pretty cold
They have integration activities every day and the heating system is very good!
They mix women and men in the same room. I don't know if this is common in another places, but I felt uncomfortable because that was my first time in a hostel.
Staff very friendly, Free diner on wesnesday
Wifi connection is poor in the room.
good located , friendly staff
Nice staff. Great location, in a local bars&clubs area, not just the touristic stuff.
The confort level, even for the more expensive private double room we chose, was pretty low : no furniture but the bed. Noisy neighbours and neighbourghood.
The staff, the stay, the atmosphere, the location. This hostel was so great, I stayed two weekends in a row because I looked it so much I had to return! The staff is perfect, and the kitchen has everything you need.
Only thing that was less than ideal was the Wi-Fi, pretty slow connections, but there's a coffee shop just around the corner.
