Everything clean, nicely decorated, well attended, hotel bkfst was excellent and plentiful- predictable. The staff was very helpful in helping me to plan my day trips, with their takes on the different cities, as well as helping me with train schedules. They even printed out theatre info for me and gave me restaurant recommendations. If I had to be nit-pickey and find something I didn't like about the hotel it would be 1) no clock in room 2) the Gym was a little skimpy-one corner was completely dark with no lighting, and although there were 2 barbells, there was only one set of clips, so only one could be used at a time, if there was even weights enough. The gym could have opened earlier too. |

The bed was of very poor quality - old, sagging mattress. The hotel was extremely noisy at night with guests yelling in the hallways outside their rooms. I had requested a non-smoking room - I was given a room that someone had recently smoked in, and there was room freshener applied to cover up the scent. |

The Leisure facilities and the large size of the rooms. I tried to get a bar meal at 21:50 but was refused saying they stopped seerving at 22:00. |

Fitness centre, bar.Very clean hotel. Room too hot, no air con, can only imagine how hot it gets during fine weather.Very bad service in breakfast room, long lines for breakfast and staff not helping, eg 2 dozen people queueing for one toaster, 2nd one tucked away out of sight and people not told about it.Other friendly staff @ reception etc made up for it. |
