That it is appropriate for students. We booked two“superior” rooms!!!!! The rooms were at best, functional, and at worst similar to holding facilities for asylum seekers. A key requisite of a "hotel" is to provide the client with a degree of comfort - other than a basic bed and clean sheets no other elements of comfort were provided. Beds with thin and unsteady, No drinks making facilities, no information about other facilities on offer, no information on refreshment, no reading material, no light in the bathroom, no telephone on which to make emergency calls however emergency numbers advertised in the rooms, no ironing facilities, no mirror outside bathroom, wire hangers for clothes etc. etc., What do your non superior rooms look like? The price charged is the same as reputable actual hotels very local. Why stay at dcu campus rooms when you can stay in a proper hotels, which has more comfortable beds, actual facilities, and a phone to telephone staff,( who are in another building) to let them know the light in the bathroom does not work all night. We had to leave the bathroom door open when using it.

The dcu campus is very green and tranquil. The room is basic, but modern and clean. Mine overlooked the inner courtyard which is very green as well. It takes 30 mins to get to city center by bus during the day and 20 mins in the evening, but the buses run very frequently (longest gap about 15 mins). The light bulb in my bathroom was flashing non-stop, but I am sure it would have been replaced if I complained (I did not have the time to).

We needed a cheap stay for one night close to the airport and did not want to book a by far more expensive airport hotel. So from that prospective location was great. Staff friendly, however we didn´t have any particulare requests. Blankets and sheets dirty. So even for one night only and for that price we didn´t find that ok! Quite loud (party people in the Campus) and windows not closing tightly.

Secure Parkingwith security patrols and cctv, I had concerns about parking my Honda pan european in the north side of the City but not at DCU,Also ideal Location for me. I would stay there again Shower in Hampstead room wasn't up to much but in Collage Park it was excellent, so worth paying the extra

Conveniently outside the city. Our booking was through booking.com for 3 rooms but the universityonly had records for one room. When booking in staff gave us locations for eating in the evening but neither places were serving food. The location for breakfast was also incorrect. The Spar shop was open but there were no plates, cutlery etc needed to self cater. I do not believe this should be called a hotel as it was more like a hostel. It could be improved by either ensuring food is being served on campus or a range of equipment is supplied so visitors can prepare light meals themselves

It can be a bit difficult to find using public transport especially because the irish seem not to use bus stop names - find the connection in advance, take note of the bus stop numbers or ask the driver to let you know and you should be fine. It was a nice stay.

The accommodations were cheap and felt very safe. It was very isolated and the man at the front desk was largely unhelpful about helping us find a place to eat.

I liked the modern well designed campus in a leafy environment. My single room + bathroom in the student accommodation was comfortable and very clean. A pizza & pint of beer were good value in The Hub bar as was the breakfast the next morning. The nearby National Botanical Gardens are well worth a visit and there is a good bus service to the city centre. Hard to find - some stand out signage would help!

The hotel is good for the price! Just 15 min by taxi from airport and more 15 for go to town. The people from the hotel was very friendly and hellpfull! I recomend! About the cleanliness was good but one day I came back and I found some black long hair in my bathroom at the floor and I'm blond. That's was disgusting but was happend just one day! Even that, I would come back to this hotel.

Adequate for a quick stop. It was a pity that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the kitchen space or in the room. The presence of a kettle but no cups, teaspoons tea coffee, milk sachets etc, seems pointless! The security guard was very helpful however. The mattress had not been turned it seemed as there was a lean where the bed had been sat on frequently. Catering facilities felt expensive for a studnet campus

Free parking, comfy beds, free vouchers for breakfast. Only thing is no tea/coffee facilities in room, no tv etc but is understandable as it is a student residence.

The kitchen facilities, although we didn't have much time to use the facilities. The room was isolated. There was a intertelephone in a communal lounge, but that was not connected. In the event of an emergency, it'd be hard and take a while to contact to the staff in the reception if we hadnt got a moblie or a raoming serviced moblie.

Clean room, quiet place, parks around though it is still close to the bus stop. Good value for money. Before trip some information about public transportation in this area would be very helpful (bus 19a or 11 from O'Connell street, ~15 min)

It was quiet and very clean but quite basic. Do not bother upgrading the room as there is little difference between them. It is quite a way out of town but we had a car and I understand bus links are OK.

Easy access to city centre and airport, quiet, suits larger groups or families, thanks to lounge and kitchen facilities. Room a bit too stuffy (windows don't open wide enough); no bathroom shelves whatsoever; night entrance not marked clearly enough.

The staff was nice and friendly. Once you find the spot parking places are abundant. Finding the reception, checking in, finding your room on the campus and ev. the place were your car has to be parked, returning to reception because the key card does not work properly will take you at least an hour. If, like us, you only want a room for one night close to the airport it really is not worth the hassle. The rooms are very basic, the double beds are not very large and the campus is rather noisy at night. No WI-FI in the rooms, you need to get a cable from reception, this takes - again - time.
