Staff friendly and comfortable stay
Too far to walk into Lisdoonvarna
Friendly and helpful manner of owners.
Nice location out in country good comfortable rooms nice people who run it
to far to walk from Lisdoonvarna it was a half an hour walk instead of 10 mins like stated
The room was comfy / clean and basic, which was suffice.
There was no Tea / Coffee making facilities in the room, however there was a area set aside in the dining room to make a coffee if need be - but this was locked up in the evenings until 08.00 hrs i.e Breakfast time. There was also no cereal or equivalent offered at Breakfast.
Cleanliness & Comfort
Poor shower facilities
small breakfast, see through curtains, noise from other rooms, dirty bathroom tiles, didnt accept visa debit card and charged 7 euro bank charges.
Breakfast was good.
A bit overpriced for the location and amenities (20 euro cheaper would have been more appropriate). Bathroom could use a deep scrub.
the hospitality. not close to any atractive places
difficult to find, phone unanswered, damp, smell of urine from bed clothes
Good location which was easy to find and the directions provided helped. Room size was excellent. It was clean. owners were friendly and available.
Nice clean room and a hearty breakfast.Very friendly staff
Shower dated but adequate.
Nice quiet location within easy travelling distance of all the main Clare attractions. Warm and friendly atmosphere provided by the hosts.
B&B is just out of town, rural area
Breakfast being thrown in your face all at once, very unpleasant. Too many guest for this small house, room very small and could hear other guests in their rooms. Snoring very loud all night, arriving home late and walking upstairs & around their room. If you would like a good night s sleep would not recommend this B&B. No tea or coffee in your room.
Terrible smell of damp in the room. Originally planned to stay for two nights but couldnt contemplate doing that after staying for one night. Bed felt almost wet with dampness. Beautiful location but couldnt reccomend this b&b.
Our hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. It was great to be able to bring our dog along as many places have a backward attitude to allowing well behaved animals to stay. We were also given two bottles of homemade beer to sample!
Countryside location about 4km from local amenities. Would not suit everyone.
Having to drive to town for dining and evening drinks
Sara and her husband/partner were super. I had a rental car breakdown near their place and they were tremendous in helping me work around my transportation issues. Very nice people. The facility was very nice as well.
It is about 2 kilometers outside Lisdoonvarna.
The view from the house was wonderful. We loved the sheep in front of the house. The owners were very nice and we found welcoming decorations made of the towels on our beds. Lovely!
A fantastic retreat about 1 mile out of Listoonvarna. Ran by a lovely Czech couple and their two children. Comfortable room with a skylight opening up to reveal stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
The couple were out standing. When I had a problem with our car he came out and worked on it. We had a delightful talk as he fixed the problem. They gave excellent advise about areas to see and a few warning and things to look out for. It was a quiet and comfortable to stay.
This I find hard to answer
That this is nothing like the web site, five minutes after arriving my husband was ready to leave, except they would of charged us for the four nights we had booked we would of walked out. I would give it a rateing of 3 my husband said at least it had a bed and a roof he would give it a 5. Lets see no heating in Ireland on a cold night not. good No where to hang anything up just a few small shelves which looked like they would fall down with any weight. The breakfast lacked variety and flavor all in all a unpleasant place to stay Then there where the rules of the house fines for this and that. I booked into a small hotel I believed not a small bnb with owners who spoke poor english. I would not recomend it to anyone.
Excellent vegetarian breakfast.
The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was well put together and quite good.
Perhaps we were there on a peak season night, but the rate was a bit high for the size and quality of the room. The TV reception was poor and the location was not in walking distance to any of the towns.
