B&B is just out of town, rural area

Breakfast being thrown in your face all at once, very unpleasant. Too many guest for this small house, room very small and could hear other guests in their rooms. Snoring very loud all night, arriving home late and walking upstairs & around their room. If you would like a good night s sleep would not recommend this B&B. No tea or coffee in your room.

    Location

Terrible smell of damp in the room. Originally planned to stay for two nights but couldnt contemplate doing that after staying for one night. Bed felt almost wet with dampness. Beautiful location but couldnt reccomend this b&b.

Our hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. It was great to be able to bring our dog along as many places have a backward attitude to allowing well behaved animals to stay. We were also given two bottles of homemade beer to sample!

Sara and her husband/partner were super. I had a rental car breakdown near their place and they were tremendous in helping me work around my transportation issues. Very nice people. The facility was very nice as well.

It is about 2 kilometers outside Lisdoonvarna.

The view from the house was wonderful. We loved the sheep in front of the house. The owners were very nice and we found welcoming decorations made of the towels on our beds. Lovely!

A fantastic retreat about 1 mile out of Listoonvarna. Ran by a lovely Czech couple and their two children. Comfortable room with a skylight opening up to reveal stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

The couple were out standing. When I had a problem with our car he came out and worked on it. We had a delightful talk as he fixed the problem. They gave excellent advise about areas to see and a few warning and things to look out for. It was a quiet and comfortable to stay.

This I find hard to answer

That this is nothing like the web site, five minutes after arriving my husband was ready to leave, except they would of charged us for the four nights we had booked we would of walked out. I would give it a rateing of 3 my husband said at least it had a bed and a roof he would give it a 5. Lets see no heating in Ireland on a cold night not. good No where to hang anything up just a few small shelves which looked like they would fall down with any weight. The breakfast lacked variety and flavor all in all a unpleasant place to stay Then there where the rules of the house fines for this and that. I booked into a small hotel I believed not a small bnb with owners who spoke poor english. I would not recomend it to anyone.

The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was well put together and quite good.

Perhaps we were there on a peak season night, but the rate was a bit high for the size and quality of the room. The TV reception was poor and the location was not in walking distance to any of the towns.

It was handy for all the attractions I wanted to see. Very welcoming. Good breakfasts. It was quiet, and had good walks.

Would have liked tea making in my room . Having said that, they have a very good set up in the dining room

Very friendly staff, comfortable room, reasonable price, located close to Cliffs of Moher and other Co. Clare sights. Although some reviews say that the B&B is a bit hard to find - and this is true - it is also true that the roads and signage in this area of Ireland are a bit confusing in general. Yet there IS a sign for the B&B from the main road. All in all, a very pleasant stay and well worth the money.

    Nothing

Very shabby and in 54 reviews this is the first time I have felt so uncomfortable. Curtains too short for window, bath surround cracked, toilet seat bracket missing, bottom sheet too small to tuck in, no top sheet under doona, owners appear to be indifferent to or unwilling to refurbish .at 59 euros, poor value. We have stayed in happy homes and received far superior comfort and service. Could never recommend Cannville to anyone.

The owners were a delightful couple, very welcoming and keen that their guests should enjoy their visit. The property enjoys a wonderful view across the surrounding area. Tea and coffee were readily available in the breakfast room. Dining facilities are available in Lisdoonvarna, not too far away by foot or by car. The owners were very understanding when we had to cut our visit short because of ill health and declined to accept payment for the second night of our stay, which they were entitled to do.
