very friendly and helpfull receptionist
Very clean and spacious, beds very comfortable, location was good.
Noisy at night time
easy walking distance to attractions
much noise during the night rain came in through window
The apartment was old damp the reception was a good walk away not convenient would not re commend this apartment at all it was expensive for one night
location was great. We can walk to a lot of the attrations. The towels were changed very day.
the towels are worn out and old. the place to pick up the keys was far from the apartment. Water was seeping through the window when it rained.
Spacious Parking at guest house Comfortable beds
Shower gel and hand soap hadn't been refilled A fair walk from guest house to apartment with suitcases
great location, close to O'Connell Street, Trinity College... Great spring box beds, which slightly made up for the lack of 'luxury' in the rest of the apartment.
Not exactly 'luxury apartments'. The ceiling in the living room and in the bathroom shows some serious water damage. We woke up at 5am one morning to find the living room flooded with water after a few hours of rain. The window has a big gap through which water was seeping in as well. Kitchen equipment very sparse, no table cloth or placemats, few glasses, bathroom bit shabby looking. Such a lovely building, it's a shame not more effort is put into keeping the place up.
Location, and kitchen services
A bit run down
Flat space is great, not far from central.
The internet was not working in my flat.
Very noisy from people above walking about
Loved the architecture- old Georgian house. Staff helped us walk to the apartment.
Three floors up was a challenge with our bags, noisy pub next door.
Central Nice staff Georgian building Jacuzzi Near supermarkets, cinema, restaurant, no public transport required
Basement flat Stains on walls
Spacious, light and clean. Good location.
Having to walk to another location to get key.
travelled with 2 other friends, location was fine, within 10 mins of all amenities. We were on a lads weekend and so were a bit noisy, the staff did chap the door to ask us to quiet down, he was friendly about it and this was fair enough as it was pretty late, we were in room 1 which is the basement apartment so we thought we wouldn't disturb anyone so I guess my only warning would be to people looking for a party weekend as the apartments are directed towards families, which is no fault of the apartments was just an oversight by us.
Very close to the centre of the city, in a part of the city best characterised as "grunge chic". The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful.
The roof leaks in the rain; there is no lift to the 3rd floor where we stayed. There wasn't really enough crockery and cutlery for five people.
The location is good ,just 5 mins walk to temple bar and shopping area.
The kitchen ware is quite dirty. Very noise even midnight.
These apartments were nicely situated in the city. Ours was spacious with plenty of room for our family of four.
However the sports bar below our window kept us up at night. We needed to keep our windows open because of the heat, but then had bar and traffic noise most of the night.
Needed a lot of repairs
Variety of specialist shops down the street for gadgets and the like. Pubs abound.
No decent books in the hallway library. Please replenish with JG Ballard, Iain Banks, Ray Carver & Sven Hassells post haste.
The good night sleep I had
Do not stay at Capel Steet Apartments. We were shocked at the level of filth this place was. We were given the basement apartment, which would have not been an issue, however these things were wrong: 1. feces on the front stoop when we arrived 2. the floors were hardwood, including the bedrooms (not carpet like the pictures) and were filthy and sticky. We had to were shoes while indoors. Tough with a 3 year old 3. There was black mold in both bedrooms and very prominently in the bathroom 4. There were at least 15 cracks in the plaster from water damage on the walls and the ceiling. In some cases you could peel off the plaster from the bubbling up 5. No ventilation and the window in the bathroom was broken 6. The furniture seemed to have come from a fraternity house - mismatched, worn and chunky foam pieces.
The cost was less expensive than other apartments in the area. The single bathroom was very spacious. The living/dining/kitchen area was sufficiently spacious. The furniture was comfortable. There was a nice entry way with a desk.
The paint was bubbling and peeling from a couple of the walls. There was only one bathroom for a two bedroom apartment that can sleep up to six people. The blinds in the windows were in very poor shape - they either were non-functional or in very poor condition. The apartment was on three flights of stairs up without any elevator (lift) - difficult when you have to lug your suitcases up! The apartments are just above a very noisy sports bar - people are yelling at all hours of the night. I would not stay there again and would not recommend this apartment to anyone I know.
Would have been great if staying more than one night Woman on the desk, which is at another location, went out of her way to return my drivers License. Thank you soooo much!
All the stairs with luggage.
couldnt open all windows
Very good sized apartment. Plenty of space.
A bit run down, but nothing that was a problem or compromised comfort.
