Cappabhaile House  

The proprietors and staff were so cheerful and friendly it set us up for the day! The breakfast was stupendous and lasted us till dinner in the evening!

A power shower would improve the bathroom but I believe this is pending.

Excellent B&B Connor was a great host and the choice and quality of breakfasts were superb

Shower could be better. High tub is difficult to negotiate. Be better if they removed the tub and installed a good sized shower. Mattress needs some box springs.

The staff were very helpful. Let us borrow maps and told us where to eat for good food at reasonable prices.

Extremely friendly staff, who were very helpful re local attractions giving us suggestions and directions. Wonderful breakfast with great presentation. And icing on the cake for us was a games room with a pool table that the children didn't come off of.

It is a bit dated but the real negative was the lack of adequate heating in the common areas.

This B&B is very high quality. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable and the gourmet Kenyan tea and china teapot were a special in room treat. The breakfast was one of our best two in Ireland, with homemade muesli and jams along with delicious yogurt. The hot breakfast offering included mushrooms and omelettes as possibilities. All was delicious. The only drawback is that the B&B is outside of town (Ballyvaghan) with no safe feeling way to walk anywhere because of the narrowness of the Irish roads. For a great place to stay to explore the Burren however, it cannot be beat.

The staff was very welcoming, the owner was extremely knowledgable about the area and more than will to take the time with you to give you tips. The food was amazing and may have had the best coffee in Ireland! Was such a great place to stay and we would absolutely go back again!

Excellent location, GREAT breakfast and very friendly staff ! This was a very good stay and I would highly recommend this B&B for anyone traveling in the region.

Location and comfort

The staff were very warm, friendly and accommodating. They were extremely helpful in guiding us around the area and making useful suggestions about places to see and things to avoid. The breakfasts were delicious and the portions were enormous. The quality of the food was also excellent. The rooms were a good size and very clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. Our family felt like we had come home. I can't say enough good things about Cappabhaile House.

Very friendly hosts, beautifully located, lovely rooms, quiet, ample parking space, delicious breakfast. We will certainly return to this place during our next trip to Ireland.

Very nice people who gave us a lot of tips to explore the area, children-friendly, lovely breakfast and large nice rooms. We had a family room with lovely view to the mountains and the cattle just outside. Well located for day trips into the nicest parts of the Burren region. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Beauty of views, food, rooms, service

The linens and decor of the room were very luxurious feeling and we could tell there was a lot of attention to detail. Also, being able to choose from a wonderful selection of breakfast offerings.

Not their fault but the problem with credit cards was awkward.

I found Cappabhaile House very comfortable and extremely clean.

The only thing we did not like about Cappabhaile House was we had to choose our breakfast the night before. Unlike our friends up the road who had a buffet type breakfast. For me it would have worked better not to have to choose breakfast the night before. You could only have one thing or the other. Having said that, the breakfast was very good

We were given such a friendly welcome at Cappabhile House by Conor and his wife. The rooms were of high class - it is rare to find a bed and breakfast that oiffers twin rooms with double beds in them. The breakfasts were excellent in both quality and quantity. We particualrly enjoyed the music nights when our landlord and his brother (and sometimes his son) played - and obviously enjoyed playing - Irish music. I wqould recomment Cappabhaile House to everyone.
