Die Lage des Hotels ist fantastisch ! Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben eine Minibar vermisst oder wenigsten Gläser u. Wasser im Zimmer. Einrichtung/Farben ect. war zum Teil sehr speziel, nicht so unser Geschmack, Zimmer jedoch waren schön eingerichtet. Der normale Zimmerpreis den sie verlangen finden wir zu hoch, würden wir nicht bezahlen. |

Ein luxoriöses Zimmer mit einer grandiosen Aussicht. Gutes Bett. Fitnessraum, Schwimmbad und Sauna vorhanden. Das Personal könnte etwas geschulter sein. Man merkte, dass es eine große Kette ist und kein persönlich geführtes Hotel. |

Confortable and clean room The air conditioning in the room did not work to a sufficient level at all. Requested that someone fix it but this had no impact and was not offered to change rooms! Also could not get near hotel bar as there was a wedding on all day and night. I also did not realise how far out from Kinsale this hotel is, the internet site is quite deceptve and it does not specify the distance from Kinsale. |

the night porter gave a stranger a key to our room at at 4 am.............this is un-acceptable! and very dangerous............ I stay in hotels a lot for buisness reasons I will now have the Carlton hotel group removed from our corporate list................this ia a disgrace!! |

The staff were friendly on arrival, the food in the bar was very good, the food in the restaurant was only average and over priced The hotel was located very far out of the town and the courtesy bus only ran after 6pm which meant that taxi back into the town after check out was only available, the staff were condescending towards us during our stay as were a young couple, we went for a meal in the hotel restaurant on the second night and we were the only couple not to have the candle lit on our table and the waiting staff... |

Stunning location, beautiful modern hotel in lovely grounds. Very useful minibus shuttle to Kinsale. Staff very efficient & courteous. Didn't try restaurant & the excellent local restaurants may draw you away from dining in the hotel. Stayed during warm weather. Hotel had air conditioning, but despite running for 2 hours did nothing to cool the room & could't sleep. Find this many times in hotels that boast air-con but do not set it to run effectively (saving money?) |

Breakfast on balcony was great. Staff were extremely nice. Best hotel so far and i have stayed in a good few. I am American and have already told my family we are going to stay there in August. I will also most definately bring relations to this hotel when they come to see Ireland in the future |

The most restful hotel I have ever been in. Due to location (views) size (not very big), layout of hotel. The lobby was particularly attractive and a good place to wait in for friends, wedding parties etc. We were surprised to find Kinsale was not below the hotel. But this did not really matter once we knew. The only annoying thing were the sealed tubes of shampoo,shower etc which most of the time had the silver tab missing so almost impossible to open once in the shower. Someone in our party tried to squeeze it out and it went everywhere. |

the staff were very welcoming indeed staff overall were polite helful and friendly we enjoyed the meal at wedding and breakfast was excellent |

The rooms were nicely designed, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located in a beautiful area with fabulous views. Check out time is 11am which is too early. |

the fabulous bright textured reception area, the lovely room, the fabulous setting/location, the walk to the water, the history of the space with the old walls, the friendly staff, proximity to rural cork country and kinsale village (town?), mini bus for transport to kinsale if required. loved that it was out of urban setting a little my eggs tasted of fish-yuk!, there was no stairs to the 3rd floor where the room was (lift only), the walk along the water should be longer and a round trip, signs from the cork side were desperate. sign from kinsale only and AT the turn itself- lots of missing and turning around done! saw it was 90 acres - thought there would be more 'walks' around the space |
