Carlton Shearwater Hotel  

Si te alojas en el hotel puedes asistir a las clases del gimnasio, y a la piscina de forma gratuita. La piscina es bastante grande. Los desayunos están bastante bien.

La ventana no cerraba del todo y entraba aire frío por la ventana. La calefacción no calentaba casi, así que he pasado bastante frío.

1st impressions wasvery welcoming and friendly and cosy. Staff in the evening in the canal restrauant were brilliant and nothing was too much for them when you asked for service. Evening menu was excellent adn food nice and hot. Rooms were very confortable and spacious.

Thought the breakfast food could of been alot warmer and not enough choice for the continential breakfast. It needs improvement as this would decide whether you would return to stay.

We found staff at the hotel to be very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was and reasonable. Pool and leisure centre were busy but still comfortable to relax in, Even the foyer/lobby was nice to have a coffee and read a paper. Overall a lovely hotel with very high standards.

Unfortunately the bar was a bit of a let-down. After dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night, there was a lack of clean tables, floor and bar staff, we retired after one drink. However, Ballinasloe has some great pubs within walking distance of the hotel.

Dissapointed with bar food, have been staying there since it opened, food not as good as it was in the early days + expensive for bar food

I was really dissapointed in the service and the attitude of the night staff at the manager at breakfast. Very poor customer service.

It was comfortable, but not luxurious. Staff were pleasant, especially at the leisure centre.

There were 3 of us in the room. Towells etc were furnished for two. When reception advised of this they promptly supplied additional towells, but had to be reminded of same the next day Breakfast was the same each day with little or no choice. Bacon, sausage, etc, a litte more imagination would be appreciated. Also shower was leaking.

I am very unhappy about that hotel, there is no friendly staff in front desk,they think that we come to that hotel to stay like free of charge,they treat me like that way.In the same time they didn't cancell my pre authorisation till to now ,I have given several number of calls ,they told that they will do but till to today day didn't done that. The manager have to reconsider of the staff in front desk because they show they are busy but they don't have.In front of mine I saw the way that they tereat to old Iresh couple not listing to them and do their work,I think that couple wait more than 15 minits to get the information that they want.

It is not a hotel to stay either business poepose.

The design and decour of the hotel was lovely, the room was excellant and very spacious.

The wireless internet wasn't working.
