Carlton Shearwater Hotel  

Si te alojas en el hotel puedes asistir a las clases del gimnasio, y a la piscina de forma gratuita. La piscina es bastante grande. Los desayunos están bastante bien.

La ventana no cerraba del todo y entraba aire frío por la ventana. La calefacción no calentaba casi, así que he pasado bastante frío.

There was a odour of cigarette smoke in the room.

Helpful and welcoming reception

I loved the room it was big and very clean. the recepition area was lovely and big too the staff there was lovelyand helpful too

The staff in the bar where very rude bar the person that took are orde,r also are the tile's on the floor in our bathroom needs to be replaced

We had an amazing stay in your hotel. We were meant to stay 4 nites but were having such a good time we booked an extra nite. The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We had an executive suite which was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 small children. We didn't get to eat in the restaurant at nite as the kids would be in bed but we ate carvery in the breakfast room every day and it was beautiful and very reasonable. We will definately stay in this hotel again and are already looking forward to our next visit

Staff were so friendly and couldnt do enough for you.

The room was decient enough, the staff were lovely, the reception team were lovely.The dinner was divine, from begining to end, The restaurant team were fast effiecent and friendly. The Menu was simple but amazing, Great value for money, if the attention to detail had not let you down the in the rest of the Hotel it could have been amazing. Between myself and my partner we have 23 years experience within the Industry therefore feel our knowledge is something you should take note of. See Below.

I sent an email to book the spa 3 days before we arrived to the hotel, this was never replied to. When we got to the hotel the staff informed us of the awaiting wedding party and were told only 6.30 or 8.30 available for dinner because of the wedding, 'very busy!' When we ventured around the hotel to book the spa she said booked out. When we went to the leisure centre there were no towels we were told to bring our bedroom towels. In our bedroom there was only one towel, I asked an accommodation assistant for a towel she said there was none available . We heard the expression ‘’because of the Wedding’’ too many times and I understand a wedding being a very special day but a Carlton Hotel with the reputation that it has should have easily been able to deal with a busy night while still attending to and creating the wow factor for other clients... We have stayed in hundreds of hotels as it is our hobby, Not impressed and will not be returning,

Friendly staff clean

Very comfortable and delighted with size of room at such a competitive price. Warm welcome at reception on checking in and checking out.

Nice warm cosy atmosphere- I was quite surprised. I thought it would be more commercialised

I was disappointed that there was no water supplied in the rooms- not even a jug of drinkable tap water. I also found the bed far too soft, and I did not like the polyester duvet
