Managers and staff made us very welcome and looked after us really well. We ate in both nights of our stay and enjoyed our meal very much - especially the fish. Carna is a great base to explore that part of the Conamarra area and the beaches we found were beautiful. We even crossed the bog road without being taken by the little people! Thanks to Mary and her team for a most enjoyable stay.

I have been going down to Carna for over 10yrs now and this is my 2nd time staying in the hotel, I normally stay with friends but decided to treat my teenage daughters by staying in the hotel, it is a very relaxing place to stay, the staff were all so helpful and welcoming in every way. The food was beautifuland the room was quite cosy.

I like Carna Bay Hotel because it has Character. It is not a hotel that you may not find any difference whether you stayed in carna or anywhere else in the world. The staff was very hospitable and pleasant. Breakfast was superb, again you know that someone made it with thought. I will definitely go back. The room was a bit small but it did not matter because in Carna you do not want to be inside the room very much.

The staff were friendly and it was close to the rugged coastline that I love. Tea was very tasty. The veggie lasagne and salad that I had for There were no toiletries in the bathroom and the breakfast was only average- the quality of the meat wasn't great. The pint of guinness[not for breakfast!] was a bit of a let down too.

The location was very near to where my family came from in Ireland & the hotel had a bicycle I was able to use to get there. That was a great extra service they offered me! The people in the room next door were a bit noisy, the walls didn't seem very soundproof. But it wasn't too bad, I still was able to sleep.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was delighted to be able to converse in Gaeilge with dining room staff. Míle buíochas cailiní. Decor dated. Breakfast not served late enough.Staff very controlling re seating arrangments in dining room even when it was not busy.
