All staff were very helpful and friendly and the food in the bar was lovely with plenty of variety. Leisure facilities were good too. The complementary internet did not work properly in the room and the tv was old and hard to see the picture on some of the stations

1. Although I was there for a sad occasion (funeral) it was uplifting to see the splendid Xmas decor so early on. 2. Thought the Bistro had a warm feel not like your typical open plan en mass 'squeeze 'em in' breakfast dining area. 1. On number one I answered 'friends' as there was no option for elderly parent. 2. Would like to see a more obvious lifeguard on watch from when the pool opens as it was quite busy with leisure centre members.

The hotel is in a great location as it is a short drive into Cork City and also perfect for exploring other areas of Cork. Breakfast was not included in our rate and it was not evident anywhere in the hotel how much breakfast cost. Also my husband does not eat Irish breakfasts for health reasons and we were still charged the same amount. €12.50 seems very expensive for a bowl of cereal and a cup of tea.

My husband and I stayed for a family wedding. Everything was so pleasant starting with a warm welcome. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name. I called him the evening before ta enquire if our room would be ready early as we were travelling from Dublin and wanted to change before wedding, No problem and on arrival there he was remembering not only the request but my name.Indeed all the staff we met were very professional and friendly. The wedding reception room was just lovely and the meal very good. We loved the breakfast room too and a very good breakfast. The bedroom was very comfortable. If I had one small suggestion. I thought having the reception for the wedding party, on arrival, in that open area not great. Good luck to the hotel and staff.

comfortable spacious room and bathroom. Nice atmosphere in the bar. Staff helpful and freindly despite being busy with weddings. The attached leisure centre is well equiped with a pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. It is very busy and is obviously well used by the local community. It is not a place to sit and relax as in some spa hotels.

Booked the hotel for travelling to fota the next day. Didn't know we had 2 take the ferry it was only about 3 mins on the ferry though and only took about 15 mins to get there. Wasn't the nearest hotel but one of the most reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and room was comforble a little small. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast.

The kids club was brilliant. Our bedroom was lovely and clean. The hotel is only a few miles from Cork city so ideal location for those wishing to head into Cork. We would stay here again.

Stayed for 2 nights only. Have to say that staff is very polite. Very good Bar and food for its price. Nice gym with all the modern training equipment. Easy to get to Cork City by bus Way too much chlorine in swimming pool, tv in our room was not working for the fist day of stay, had to ask staff 4 times to get it fixed (but got a free breakfast for whole family - fair play) room was too hot, needs conditioning in summer. In the rest - anyway would go there again

This hotel was very nice. It was our second time to stay here. The band in the hotel were fab called Shine. The hotel staff very nice. The only negative is that the alarm went off in the hotel at 3am and also at 4am which meant that we got very little sleep and there was a lot of noise outside our hotel window even though it was 1 am in the morning and all entertainment was finished since 12.30.

Hotel is easily accessible. Bar is comfortable and ample seating was available. The shower was very good. . Rooms were not superior as advertised and the view was of the heating system through windows which were badly in need of cleaning. It was a basic room and was sufficient for my needs on this occasion

Easily accessible from Dublin Room was not "superior" in my opinion. Looked out over the service area at the back of the hotel. However was adequate for my needs but not good value for money.
