The Hotel is in a very good location staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms very well decorated with comfortable beds.I Did have a few niggles...I Think that you should inform customers that the water in the rooms is not suitable for drinking.also the showers should have instructions on how to use them. One last thing the rooms where very dusty and the unit had paper and things at he back where it wasnt cleaned properly, the bathroom wasnt throughly cleaned round the edge of the sink. On saying all this I would definately recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Clean, comfy, very good bed, cosy rooms, cosy carpet in room, lots and lots of electrical sockets which were handy for laptop & chargers etc. Staff were very polite, hotel bar was good & open til late 1.30 and it shows some sports. Location was convenient, but area a bit scummy. Cassidys is, as they say, "a gem", however, Wont stay again because of the awful ironing facilities. Ironing facilities were disgusting. I asked for an iron and was advised that there was a laundry room I could use. This turned out to be a tiny apace down an arkward shaped corridor, second floor. The room contained a dirty worn out old ironing board, and a burnt black iron which spits brown spit onto your clothes regardless of steam setting, and leaves black marks on your clothes. The iron was hardwired to the wall socket, so you couldn't even use an alternative (there were no other plugs). There was nowhere to hang your ironed clothes, no hooks that fit a hotel hangar. The room itself was very cold and draughty, at the front of the hotel, with a big window, leaving you exposed to passers by. Some passing tourists did point up at me when I was in my pyjamas doing a shirt before work. The iron only works if you put your key in the room elec socket. Wont stay again because of the awful ironing facilities.

Three words describes Cassidys Hotel..location..location...location. I was on a 3-day city trip. Sightseeing and shopping. It is a 2-min walk from O'Connell Street where you can pick up Luas and buses to tourist sights, shopping in Clery's and Henry Street is only 5 mins away. The Gate Theatre is only across the road. We didn't use the Bar/restaurant/gym as we were out until late eve so can't comment on those facilities. They have a 'Luggage Hold service' on day of Departure which was invaluable to me as I could use my day in the city until I picked up my bus in O'Connell Street at 6 P.M. It was my second time staying in this hotel. While our Standard room was of 'older style' the services in the room worked well and it was clean. The staff were polite and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for similar visit and I would stay in it again if I wanted a city centre location.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were allowed to check in early as there was a room available. Request for room to front of hotel was met. Beds/pillows were very comfortable. Dove Hand wash and Lux combined shampoo/bodywash provided in bathroom. We were offered the facility of leaving our bags after checking out which was great. Overall great service, highly recommend.

The hotel location is excellent and just 5 minutes walk from the heart of the city. Breakfast and evening meals were well cooked and good value. Some excellent standards of customer service observed. The bedrooms are comfortable but maybe need a bit of a refresh

The food menu was not great and was very overpriced . The food served was very dry and overcooked. The bartender could speak English well he didn't understand what we were asking for and gave us the wrong order on a number of occasions .

I stayed at the cassidys hotel so I could be in walking distance to the Dublin o2 arena to watch a snow patrol show. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and it was nice and quiet in the hotel. Breakfast was extremely good value a mere 7.50 euros for a breakfast buffet

Value for money, good location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, especially reception. Choice of eggs for breakfast, they only did scrambled. Room was not serviced as requested, but someone may have turned the notice over on the door knob to read do not disturb.

The hotel is in a very good location and you can easily access all parts of the city from there, either on foot or by bus/tram. The room was modern and clean....apart from the net curtains which had seen better days and needed to be thrown away. The bathroom was a decent size with Lux/Dove soap/shower gel which is a bonus when travelling. There is also a hairdryer...very heavy but powerful! There is also a safe which can be used free of charge. We did not eat at the hotel as we had room only but there is tea/coffee in the room and we did get extra milk when asked for. The reception staff were always helpful and courteous. All in all a fab time away in Dublin and we will be back.

The staff are very efficient, polite an informative. The hotel is not in the perfect position for the centre; however Dublin is not the biggest city in the world and it only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the Liffey and about 15 to St Stephens Green. The rooms are clean and warm in winter. The bathroom was clean and there was always lots of hot water. The food at the hotel is good and reasonably priced, which is also good as Dublin must be one of the most expensive cities in Europe! The hotel always tends to have lots of guests, which I think is a sign of a good hotel....we have been staying there for the last 5 years. Garry Proctor
