Our bed was clean, quiet and comfortable. Enough room to relax in room and not feel trapped. Different than some hotels in Ireland .... at Cassidys you can control the temperature yourself. Hotel Pub food was good and reasonabily priced. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Location was excellent and within walking distance to most sites. Tourist office less than two blocks away. It is a boutique hotel that met our needs perfectly and we will absolutely stay there again. We will give them an A. Thank you Cassidys :) I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Cassidys hotel was in a good location, within walking distance of the city with all its restaurants, shopping, nightlife and transport links. It provided good value for money, and for people who are looking for a cheap city break, this hotel is a good option. Don't expect luxury. The room has a tv, a safe, and was clean enough, but there really are no extras. However, for the price that I paid I wouldn't expect them!

Cassidys has a great location, just at the top of O'Connell Street, good gym, fairly quick free wifi, nice rooms with comfortable beds and sizeable bathrooms. Reasonable selection of TV channels and a nice bar downstairs which serves food and shows live football - without being overly noisy. The ironing room - especially when in the executive wing - is a pain to use, i would have expected executive rooms to have had their own ironing facillities.

It is always good to feel comfortable as a single traveller and Cassidy's staff made me feel very comfortable and were always helpful, evening posting back to me an item I had lost in reception.

Decent location - a 10 minute walk to Temple bar and major Dublin sights This is an old, tired property that, while charming in some respects, is in need of a makeover: bathrooms borderline acceptable, room furniture well worn and tired. It's location abuts a seedy cross street, and is positioned near lots of honky tonk tourist businesses.

I have now stayed at Cassidy's at least four times, always due to location, price and value for money. I got an excellent price for an overnight stay, the location is fantastic and our room was spacious with extremely comfy beds! Would recommend as I have stayed in several temple bar hotels and find them all too noisy at night - Cassidy's is quiet and peaceful, whilst having a great atmosphere and location. Staff are efficient and were extremely helpful when I contacted them to request a car parking space. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.

The accommodations were charming, clean, reasonably priced and exactly what we were hoping for. We wanted to stay in an older Dublin hotel with more charm than the modern chain properties. Cassidy's suited our need perfectly, and we were very happy with the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff. The location was excellent--still in the city but about a 10 minute walk to the Temple Bar district so it was not too loud at night. Busses and metro are a block away so it's easy to navigate the city. I would highly recommend Cassidy's! The bathrooms (tub and sink) are a bit dated, but that adds to the charm of the accommodation. It is spotlessly clean, has nice ceramic tile, the shower is very good with lots of hot water, but if you are looking for modern conveniences this may not suit. It was not an issue for us, as this was expected.

Its a nice hotel I found one of the reception staff very rude I thought I had booked a parking space so when there wasnt one an had to be sent half a mile away to park after a long drive was not happy then my room you had to go to the other end of hotel get a lift down one floor walk around a couple of corners and another lift up one floor to get to our room found the whole experiece exhausting with no help from staff only directions which were not very good

The only disappoinmting thing was the heat of the bedroom was far too warm and uncomfortably to sleep we couldn't do anything at 2am as we wouldn't want to be moved at that time at night. It was unbearable to stick that we left before are check out time and headed home.

We came to Dublin for an Easter break. The hotel is in an excellent location to the shops and bars. We found the first bus stop for the hop on hop off bus, to be just around the corner, which gave the opportunity to sit where you liked on the bus. We did have a bar meal in the hotel and this was enjoyable. Our friends had breakfast each morning and were more than pleased with the self service aspect. All in all we would certainly stay at Cassidys again. Thank you.

Staff very friendly and made you very comfortable. The rooms are very basic but value for money. The location of this hotel is great just 10 minutes walk to shops and the City Centre. If there was one thing I would have liked it would be for the rooms to be a little cleaner especially the bathrooms which I believe could have done with a little makeover and an update.

The hotel was exceptional especially considering for the price. The staff could not have been better. They were very attentive and responsive to my needs and went well beyond what could be expected to ensure that I had a very pleasant stay. I will definetly make Cassidy's my hotel of choice whenever I am in Dublin.

the staff was friendly, the location was awesome, the room was comfortable, and the price was very good. The room had all of the amenities that you could need and they were very helpful there. I would recommend it. The food at the restaurant was not good, and it was expensive. The walls in the rooms are very shabby, in desparate need for repair and paint. And I was there for 6 nights and they never changed my bedding...hopefully they change it for the next visitors...

We had no sleep for the first 2 nights as the toilet ran constantly. We we told it was fixed but clearly no-one checked this as it wasn't! We were eventually moved to another room but were tired and annoyed by then! There were nail clippings on the bed when we arrived and the towel rail didn't work. The door handle was broken and the shower gel dispenser was empty. It felt like no-one had bothered!! Don't stay here - there are loads better hotels and better value in Dublin.

“The Hotel is very conveniently located, in a safe and very good area, central, with lots of public transportation optinons (bus, train, cab). The price was very affordable considering the hotel itself and the provided services. The breakfest was huge, delicious and always in time. The hotel staff was extremly friendly and helpfull (all shifts). The room very clean, spacious enough, warm and 24/7 hot water. The hotel, room and lounge design is very beautifull and warm, gives the impression of a luxury mansion and the comfort of your home. last but not least, the hotel, rooms, lounge, washrooms are very, very clean. I will definately recommend it to all types of travellers. I will go back if I will travel to Dublin again.” Dan, Brussels |
