Very comfortable beautiful view of Lough Gill fab food well presented
Sign at end of road should be on the sane side as the castle passed it twice as it was dark
The owner JJ was very helpful. Fantastic location. Very comfortable.
Lack of shampoo
We stayed in a king room for two nights. Very flexible and accommodating hosts. Breakfast - superb, full Irish, fruit, cereal, coffee & tea etc. Views - beautiful, if you're looking for a scenic getaway look no further than rural Sligo. Comfort- very difficult to leave the bed. The WIFI works just not 100% in every room although there are plenty of lounges to use in... for me I like to visit places like this to disconnect from mother internet for a while so never an issue.
Unless you want to find out if your car is ready to go rallying or plough fields I would suggest to take the road opposite the castle... not the little dirt road my sat nav which I've since parted ways with took me
Beautiful spot JJ very helpful
The Views from the room.
Comfortable bed, Big shower, fireplace, view, heating, nice owner, clean room
Mould in the bathroom, no kettle in the room, no Wi-Fi range in our room, Irish breakfast was good but not filling enough
The views were stunning and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom
JJ was really helpful, always available to ask things and great with suggestions on where to go and what to do. Flexible with check in/out or early breakfast, and went the extra mile to help us out with transport into Sligo for the music festival. very comfortable rooms and access to self catering
It is a very nice place, large, well maintained, great open areas to sit, warm.
Friendly atmosphere.Lovely people.Excellent location.JJ Erin,Karen & Edward were absolutely wonderful hosts.Thank yous
Leaving wanted to stay a week.
Position and views with excellent Irish breakfast.
Little things- such as too much furniture in our room, bare light bulb in bathroom, bathroom door furniture not there ( couldn't lock the door)
Price and high standard
Friendliness of the staff, location - handy for Sligo, beautiful views free parking, comfortable bed and nothing was too much trouble for the staff
No inroom tea and coffee making facilities.
Very very comfortable place, nice people and delicious breakfast. The view fo the lake from the hotel is GORGEOUS!
The place and view is very beautiful. Room was large, bathroom was a fair size both clean. Breakfast was good. JJ the owner was friendly and informative, had lots of suggestions for places to eat and things to do.
WiFi was very poor. Was quite loud, other doors would shut and yours would rattle, people can be heard moving and talking very late in the night.
Wonderful location and service. Friendly and helpful people. Would recommend it to everyone.
Location was really nice. Breakfast was great and hosts were very welcoming. Countryside around this area is awesome.
Excellent decor. Large family room with Large fireplace. Great view
Wifi had difficulty connecting
The unit overlooks Parkes Castle on Loch Gill, and the scenery is spectacular. Staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, and tea or coffee was always offered.
Wi-Fi was almost non-existent, so contact with the rest of the world was a problem. The rooms vary in size and quality, so make sure you get the one you've paid for.
wonderful view over lough gill. rooms nice and clean. breakfast full irish or scrambled egg, fruit salas, toast with wonderful view. very friendly staff. great starting point for visiting the area around Sligo, really recommend it.
Wireless was very poor.
The view was breathtaking, large room, with 3 double beds! Our host was friendly, but too busy to give time to guests.
Poor quality bread at breakfast, just basic sliced which we had to toast ourselves. The room was quite dusty & lacked feminine touches, eg settee & TV in line, 3 seater settee for 3 double beds seems odd - no desk with chair for WiFi
We stayed for 2 nights, we wanted a relaxing weekend away from the town. This was perfect, only 10 min drive into Sligo. Very quiet and a good location,
Lovely location, although access by the lane one-way traffic. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean.
Breakfast meat heavy - would have liked tomatoes &mushrooms, less meat as too filling.
Stunning views, fantastic house, amazing hospitality, place for peace of mind..
