Very centrally located, homely atmosphere.
Facilities and location are excellent for getting around the city centre. Staff very helpful and obliging. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere, would definately recommend
my daughter had altered my room as she wished to come with us but then could not get her flights, she emailed hotel to explain that she was unable to come and asked them to cancel, as she did not email until the day before we were still charged her full rate of 55 euros on top of my 74, I felt the hotel could have reduced her cost especially as there were 24 of us staying in the hotel at the time from our group, even a small discount would have been very welcome
staff is extremely nice, polite, make you feel like home, food in restaurant and bar was nice, clean and cosy rooms
Stayed just one night, reception staff and everyone seemed helpful
small bathroom with sloping floor, noisy from road traffic, noisy with thin walls, telephone didnt work
Rooms next to main road noisy with traffic.
the welcome from Finn the owner and breakfast staff / reception
noise above bar, banging of doors poor service in bar/restaurant staff advertising mc donalds products behind the bar for there own consumption hair in food no courtesy check done
Breakfast and staff were very good
Unfortunately the room was not that great - small and the shower was either too hot or too cold! I had paid for a upgraded room and don't think it was great value for money.
The staff and food is unreal I love the hotel
15 a night for parking is very dear
It was my first time in Dublin and it couldn't have been better. The hotel was good and the staff was really kind and helpfull
The rooms are really hot.
The Bar and his Singer !
Lovely food ,music in the castle cellars
The staff were amazing! The breakfast was amazing! The place was amazing! Everything was perfect and staff were always making sure everything was okay. Literally couldn't fault anything with this place!
Only bad point i have was the beds, they could have been a little more comfortable but don't let that sway where you stay!!
Good location to explore Dublin from, tasty breakfast & friendly staff
The location was good
Hotel needs refurbishment. The hotel has a smell of smoking. We had breakfast in the basement which was cold and had no choice of breakfast
the staff were extremely friendly and helpful the entertainment was fantastic!
the bed was very very old and uncomfortable also i booked a double room and got a twin meaning i was apart from my partner ....valentines weekend too :((
Shame the restaurant is down in the vaults. Room was a bit dated.
Very good hotel for the price. Comfortable room, good breakfast, great staff, very convenient restaurant and bar for early evening meals with kids.
Bathroom in room 100 was a bit disappointing, though perfectly functional.
The location was good. Staff friendly. At times it was very noisy with people banging doors. Bur overall very happy.
Cleanliness and decor was gorgeous. Definitely go back again. Thank you.
Good central location Helpful staff Comfortable Beds
Small rooms Excessive parking charges Hotel dated with very poor and non functioning room facilities
Friendly staff and free wifi. Hotel room was clean.
I was surprised when we saw our room as the photos on the website do not show a standard room. It was a bit outdated which was the opposite of what the website had to me (recently furbished, I read) the bathroom seemed newer and it was clean But the temperature of the shower water fluctuated. We were very disappointed on our last morning when we went to breakfast at 7am (the time advertised all over the hotel and on our itinerary) and were told that hot food did not start until 7.30. This was very annoying as I am lactose intolerant and all was in offer was cereal and yogurt. Not even toast! Won't be going back here
The food the valentines menu and the music! Thank you
Good location, clean and comfortable beds, lovely breakfast, great live music at nights - the whole family enjoyed it.
Windows not very sound proof and street noise was quite intrusive, was a big gap in the old windows which was great for a bit of air con but let a lot of noise through.
Location and elegant sitting rooms.
Our room had a faulty radiator control, broken sink plug, loose electric socket, uncomfortable mattress , flat pillows and torn duvet cover. General lack of attention to detail eg 2 fried eggs turned out to be 2 rock hard poached eggs.
No heating in bath room
