I found the staff to be a 100% especially the breakfast morning staff. I would like to say a big thank you to the bouncer in the night club with the grey beared who was also in the hotel that night. I found him to very curiosity when dealing with people and a pure gentleman. Yes, i didnt have a long enough there lol..... |

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and they provide a children's menu. The locals take over the facilities such as the steam room, jacuzzi. Its like one out, one in. That way they keep the facilities to themselves. |

the breakfasts! Our oginalbooking was for a family room with 1 double and 2 single beds however on arrival this had been changed without any reference to us-the crossed out number was still on the roomkey swtch.Whilst we booked in late I had confirmed arrival on the morning of arrival and phoned in the evening again to advise of our arrival time.Had I been aware that our room would be offered to others I would not have elected to visit friends in Castlebar and would have appreciated the courtesy of this information as it obviously affected our sleeping arrangements. |

excellent location, friendly staff, good food, very clean overall ( with the exception of the odd carpet that could do with bing replaced, in particular in the upper section of the orchid restuarant) secure parking available. The night security staff need to tone down there manner slightly. I appreciate that they have a job to do, but during this recession, when there are wedding etc booked in a hotel all staff must be customer friendly. The soalled cead mile failte will be critical to the tourist industry over the next two years. Acomment that I would make that is not a criticism, but more an observation is the fact that I noticed most female staff wearing black skirts. It is about ten years ago since I have seen this in hotels or retail where I work.I also noticed the guys in the club wearing black trousers with modern jerseys, which I also found unusual. This is not a ctriicism, but merely something that is not normally seen now, especially in urban areas. |

Location and proximity to city center. Not value for money: Spa is shared with another hotel, so in fact there is no spa. The pool was the main reason for me to choose this hotel for my children: however "leisure" is something definitively missing in this costly hotel; pool is tiny, not even allowed to take pictures of my kids swimming, pool staff may come from the police, too much stupid rules! |

I like the friendly helpful staff, the food and the clean and bright leisure facilities. During our recent stay in June 2009 we were given a room which was much smaller than we usually have when staying in the Castlecourt. Over the course of our 5 day stay it was a bit cramped. The iron was not working and there wasn't a comfortable chair in ehich to sit. We've stayed there many times before and found the exact opposite. |

A very enjoyable few days spent at the hotel. The delux room was beautiful with the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. Outstanding leisure/ spa facilities on site in a very attractive town. Very good value for money. |

Location - short walk to the main street. Lovely decor. Good sized bedroom with blackout curtains. Very clean & comfortable. Great breakfast. Polite staff. It was a little too warm but there was a desktop fan in the room. |
