very friendly landlord wooden floors in the room breakfast room - very cosy and traditional - nice view
bathroom and room a little small
Room was small but bright and airy and had fab view; bed was very comfortable, bathroom huge, also with a great view. Very quiet and restful, host welcoming, everything spotless. Breakfast was good and the porridge was the best I've had. Nice walks nearby and a few mins walk to the village with two pub/restaurants and a hotel, for food. About 15 mins drive to Letterfrack where there is a good gourmet food shop as well.
Only thing I'd change is to put kettles for tea/coffee in the rooms, cause I like to make my own coffee, but the host would gladly make you some tea or coffee and this didn't bother me.
Hospitality and friendly owner location ideal for activities and places to visit
The owner was friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home. The location is in a small town a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Clifden. It was easy to get to Connemara National Park. The included breakfast was excellent and was served in a room with a good view of the mountains.
There were no big problems. Our room did have a squeaky bathroom door, and the bathroom was very small; however, all in all, this is a nice place to stay.
We were welcomed by a very friendly owner with a cup of tea. He gave us lot of information about walking tours and what to see in Conamara. I can only recommend this bed and breakfast.
I attended a wedding at Renvyle House Hotel and stayed at this B&B. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfy. Amazing views and warm hospitality. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
Excellent place for pleasure....
John was the epitomy of Irish hospitality thanks for a lovely stay in a spectacular part of the world!
Lovely B&B, owner was very friendly and helpful.. No complaints at all!!
Clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast, beautiful view. John was very welcoming and accommodating. We didn't want to leave!
Owner was great.
weather was not good
Open fire at breakfast and in sitting room in evening. Friendly staff. Good shower facilities
The place was nice, very clean and comfortable and quiet. A little away from things, but not much. Only a couple minutes drive to pubs, beach, etc. 20 minutes to Clifden, half that to the national park.
Lack of any modern appliances, cleanliness , my room which was on the main road needed a complete overhaul. If it hadn't been so late , I would have refused to stay.
I loved the location, the wellcome we recived and the helpfullness of the owner. plus the coffee was brill.
I would have liked a extra pillow.
Friendly, helpful, service oriented John Diamond with a good (Irish?) sense of humor. A clean comfortable room, beautiful countryside, a very good restaurant nearby.
Undrinkable water in the room.
