Excellent hotel ......food lovely......great spacious family suites....

In the family suites no cutlery at all.......no plates etc.....otherwise no complaints

This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds with great scenic views. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly.

We found that the staff were wonderful and really looked after you. As usual, nothing was too much bother. The room was great in the main hotel and the breakfast did them proud. Would always stay there. 4 Stars*******************8

Room fit out is very tired, many functions substandard, ie poor plumbing, old coverings no internet, tv broken

The hotel is clean and comfortable. It is set in a very picturesque location surrounded by tended green areas and bordering the river Shannon. There is a tranquil extending from the hotel along the river and into town. It is a very nice place to get away and relax.

Fantastic value for a big bright room, spacious clean bathroom and fantastic friendly staff.

The breakfast was very nice!

Going by the swimming pool and leisure facilities, this hotel should not be billed as a "Spa hotel". The facilities are pretty basic, shabby and more in line with what you'd expect of a local community leisure centre (in need of some repair, I might add) than luxurious spa facilities.

Vor Abreise wurden wir angerufen, ob wir das Zimmer auch tatsächlich nehmen wollen, so war klar, dass die Buchung angekommen ist. Die Zimmer entsprechen einem gehobenen Standard. Das Haus macht von außen nicht besonders viel her, innen ist aber recht hübsch. Das Bar-Essen ist ok, die Auswahl passt zu Irland. Der Service war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Da wir am Tag der Abreise noch in der Gegend geblieben sind, konnten wir die Koffer ohne Probleme an der Rezeption zur Aufbewahrung abgeben.

Zwembad indoor biedt goed alternatief voor de kids in geval van slecht weer. De beroemde Castleconnel zalmvisserij kan vanuit de tuin/het park van het hotel (tijdig reserveren).

thought rate was very expensive for one night while attending a wedding and the fact that breakfast was only on offer until 10.30 on a Saturday morning and room only was not on offer.Also had to share a double bed and key of other room was given to a single occupant eventhough it was the twin bedroom. Also staff never asked how our stay was and it was difficult to discuss while bride whom we were guests at wedding of was with us.

Very relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff.
