in december no heating and no hot water, and noise from some fan (extractor) beside our window, dinner served so slow
The hotel is a very welcoming and homely place to stay.
Lovely old building .Large comfortable bedroom with decent bathroom .Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. We were attending a wedding in another venue and received great assistance from the receptionist re directions etc.Interested enough to inquire next morning if we had enjoyed wedding too!
Breakfast first morning ----bacon and eggs very overdone! Got fresher bacon and scrambled eggs next morning.Bread selection could be better.
shower boiling hot . Got moved to another room.Breakfast of poor quality.
I had to wait until 1 am for the music at the function being held downstairs to finish before I could get to sleep. The noise was so bad the light fitting in the room regularly shook with the vibrations of the music. So even the odd time I managed to start to fall asleep that noise stopped me. I was pregnant and very tired and had to be up early. Not impressed at all.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Cooked breakfast served on cold plates.
spacious family room friendly staff
the entrance is breathtaking, the drawing room had a touch of class .
the carpets were a bit dated.breakfast was mediocre
Lovey big room, and bathroom with separate bath and shower. very large and comfortable bed. Nice bar and restaurant area serving very good value for money food. Excellent breakfast service. Beautiful old manor house in lovely grounds.
Fab bedroom and bathroom. breakfast very nice, social dancing on sat night, music also in bar
Size and amenities in bedroom and bathroom were excellent. We asked for a quiet room and not a sound was to be heard. The bed was huge. Staff on reception were most pleasant and welcoming.
Most of the tables for 2 in the bar were with high stool /chairs which are not comfortable for older people. Taps in the bathroom spouted blue crystals when first turned on.
the staff just couldn't do enough for us
only had saorview channels and the tv receiption was not good
Huge room and bathroom, very good value for money
Bedrooms large and clean.
Slow service in an empty restaurant breakfast poor.
The beds were a dream and the bath excellent.
Nothing at all.
Bedrooms and en suite excellent.staff efficent and friendly
Was down for a wedding staying with a large group of family and friends in celbridge manor. Got a phone call the afternoon of the day before to say the hotel was overbooked and we had to stay in a different hotel which was further away from wedding venue (much more expensive in taxis). Had friends who were not asked to move even though they booked much later and no explanation why. Very disappointed.
The quality of the rooms, Location and the breakfast was first class
Welcoming ambiance, beautiful building. Lovely, spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious room, ditto the bathroom. The breakfast was very tasty with a good selection of hot and cold dishes and very good pastries :-) I want the wallpaper in the library!
The lunch in the bar. We ordered a selection of dishes to share and most of them were barely warm :-( The ribs were hot on one end and cold on the other, same with the wings. The BLT was lovely and the chips were hot. The server did apologise and we weren't charged for the cold dishes.
Great large room. Brilliant location in lovely town outside Dublin. Staff could not do enough to accommodate our two little boys. Very impressive indeed.
Total ambience of the hotel. Friendly co-operative attitude of staff. Food was succulent. Room layout was excellent
Close to airport without having to stay back in Dublin. Beautiful inside. Very nice staff
Our room had very tired decor but was otherwise comfortable
