There was no desk in the room to work on. There was no ironing board so had to iron shirts on the bed!!!
staff were friendly
shower to small, had to pay extra for breakfast
Location, close to everything, Able to leave bags to look around. Shuttle to airport.
Noise at night, but we were above a bar! Stairs.
the location was excellent, the breakfast was OK and the staff friendly. The free shuttle to the airport was on time and fast.
the room was small and had a mini mini bathroom. We could not open the window because the aircondition of the restaurant was next to it with terrible noise. So the room was really hot.
The rooms are newly decorated with newly installed en suite facilities. All was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff were friendly - especially those serving breakfast. Very good value for money. Easy walk to bus station, train station, bus tours and within walking distance of museums and theatres.
As expected so close to centre there was noise. Live music was played in the restaurant below our room, but this finished between 11 pm and midnight, so good sleep. Room is a bit small but adequate. Some rundown shops around the hotel.
The staff were fantastic and we were nice and close to the hustle and bustle of Dublin without being kept up at night.
Very little to complain about, but the shower wasn't great.
Ideally situated, clean, friendly staff & comfortable
Nothing to dislike about the place.
The room was smaller than expected, the shower on the top floor had very low water pressure, the toilet roll holder was broken. We didn't have the best view from the window but then the people in the building opposite turned out to be friendly.. Lack of the elevator made us lose some weight:)
The helpful, friendly staff and the breakfasts. Comfy bed, I slept well.
Room furniture was very 'tired' and should be updated. Spoils the ethos of the place.
Clean room Legit Wi-Fi
No air conditioners
Location was really central and it was easy to get to especially from bus station. Staff were lovely and very helpful. It has a lovely restaurant below and a great pub called The Celt with good trad a few doors away music next door
The sheet kept coming off the bed, it was fitted and a bit small so it cudnr be tucked in properly. The shelf over the sink was too big and you had to put you head nearly in the sink to wash face or do teeth.
Excellent location. Very clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is very reasonable 6€.
Daughter complained bed was too hard. Bathroom is very small.
We hadn't had such a terrible night in ages. The party in the pub downstairs didn't let us sleep until 1am. Then the people moving from room to room slamming the f4ck1ng door every 5min until 4am. Don't go there unless you go to Dublin to party. In that case, this is your hotel.
Location was good and breakfast was a good price. Staff were friendly and helpful
the room was to small for two women traveling through Ireland. Couldn't wait to get outside because the room and bathroom were so small. Great for single person. No elevator only a lot of stairs.
Location and comfort. Airport shuttle (which we did not know about initially but used when leaving).
Noise level (street), many stairs, cost was high when compared to other places we stayed in Ireland. Repairs needed to shower in one room, sink and toilet in another. We ate breakfast elsewhere due to cost
the whole package as , price - quality--location was just excellent, very happy to book Celtic Lodge again
bed was somewhat soft for my liking
Some rooms a bit small for two adults.
Toilette dirty Fire alarm went off randomly throughout the day even night
Good location, Staff pleasant & helpful.
Room rather small but OK for short stay.
I thought all staff members were extremely helpful. The Celt pub next door was perfect as well. I would definitely visit this guesthouse again!!
The bathroom was extremely small and the wifi connection was not the best.
Great location Breakfast good value
Be aware that some of the rooms facing the street can be noisy
The beds are comfortable, the coffee and tea facilities were refilled very generously, and the hotel is at a great location, less than 10 minutes walk from Trinity College and Temple Bar. The LUAS red line is also close, so every famous sight is easily accessible.
The rooms are a bit dark, bathrooms are tiny and the walls are thin. For us it was okay, but it's good to know that there is no lift in the hotel.
Requested a quiet room. Ended up over the bar and live music from 21.00 - 23.00 . Got moved to last available single room after some pleading looking out onto the rubbish bins. Would not recommend nor stay again.
Small room but clean. I loved the bed. There was a coffee and tea. The bathroom clean as well. The price is good and good location.
Very noisey. There was people laughing and talking even after I closed the window but I still hear everythig from thr outside. Moreover the I can hear the music from the band in thr bar, they were singing for the dubliners haha It took me forever to fall asleep.
location, staff, comfortable
room was small but it was fine for me since I was traveling solo, had trouble getting wifi in room but worked in hallway
