Staff very effenciatent and friendle
Bars got very packed not enough seats
Noise from nearby bar went on until 4.30 in the morning. Lighting poor in room.
Location is perfect, room was quiet
Carpet was stained and old, overall needs to be spruced up a bit
Staff very nice and great location
We keep coming back cause it's so central and reasonably priced, staff are lovely and helpful
This time the room we had was quite small with no bath, also the noise outside was an issue, however to be expected as it's so central
Good location, room and price
Not always pleasant staff
The central hotel is ideally located in the heart of dublin city centre. shops, restaurants and bars are on your doorstep.
Friendly desk staff. Really comfy bed. Excellent location.
Reasonable room prices, terrific location, great staff -- always a cheerful welcome.
Location very handy, not much walking required
Tired, dated rooms. Very noise outside with bar and nightclub next door Some of the staff were excellent but some were very unconnected, sent us on a wild goose chase with car park, told us kids breakfast was free and it wasn't , my mums room had a wet sheat and the duty manager told her it was nothing sinister but didn't change it
It was comfortable, clean and staff were excellent. The room, while a little dated was quiet and comfortable and easily accessible. The location of the hotel was perfect for me on the night in question.
Excellent location for shopping and dining in Grafton St. Staff were excellent and very welcoming. Very lively lounge and comfortable
Hotel with character. Clean and comfortable.
Traffic noise at times - not a major worry.
on third floor but noisy as cars were blowing their horns untill 3.oclock am ...thought that was illegal between the hours of 11 and 6 at night?????. heating not working.
the location, convenience and price were excellent.Great value for money.
The only drawback was it was a bit noisey.
location, comfort, service & clean what more do you want?
A bit noisy at rear. I think there was a nightclub on til late.
Excellent hotel for vacation. Stands in the center of Temple Bar, the heart of Dublin's Social (night/day) life. Perfect choice for rookies in Dublin !!

no heat in room, lights were not working And there was no hot water in shower.could not take a shower. We did complain and were told this Hotel is 300 yrs old and this is the way it is.Staff did not care aand were very rude
Location in Temple Bar with shops and nightlife Helpful staff and excellent breakfast
bed too firm for wife bar always too full!
The Central Hotel is exactly as its name describes it - Central - in the Temple Bar area of Dublin its in the middle of it all. On foot access to all the tourist and shopping areas and those that are further can be accessed by the Hop on Hop Off tourist buses which are great to get around the city. Staff are good and helpful.
Lack of proper bright lighting in the room. Very poor low wattage bulbs were being used. An investment in sound proofing would not go amiss. Dublin is a city that never sleeps hence there is noise from revelers throughout the night to the next morning.
water pressure in the shower
