Hotel was clean, staff friendly, room comfortable and clean
room was delightful
Helpful staff! Comfortable rooms! Clean and tidy!
Location is abit out if city center but can be walked in around 15 mins! No tea or coffee facilities in the room!
our hotel was lovely
Nice comfortable room, very big. Night porter was a lovely man who greeted us very nicely at night.
Nothing really but if I was to be very picky some of the furniture could do with updating but overall I would stay there again.
Very attractive room. Comfortable bed. Bus stop right outside and stores about 5 min walk. Nice public areas.
My room was very cool. I tried to adjust the valve on the radiator but I never felt any heat in it.
It was clean and the beds were comfy, although out of town slightly the bus route to the centre stops directly outside the hotel. Breakfast was Nice but not included in the price.
No tea or coffee making facilities in te room. Wifi was decent but had to find spots in the room where it would work properly
Comfortable stay with friendly staff, had all we needed.
Ceiling above shower was mouldy & shower was cold on second morning.
Location was excellent for a nice walk to city centre
Local footpaths need to be navigated with care
location and friendly staff.
Iron in hallway
I went to this hotel just for the weekend with friends and the heater in the bedroom was off and when I tried to put on it was not working so we had a bad night. In my opinion it s to expensive. It s far from the center. It s unacceptable using timer for the heater just to not allow the customer to warm up.
Just the comfort of the bed
The night staff is very moody and the lack of things inside the room to maximise comfort for guests, i mean, i expect tea or coffee and utilities to make your own breakfast!
Staff were very helpful.
Standard of room could be improved by a few basic changes. Replace broken bedside lamp, a sink plug without a hole in it.
Quiet Clean Good value for money
Price car parking location
Rooms dated but excellent for the price
Style and elegance of property. Stayed in Room 54 which was lovely large room.
Could do with more soundproofing of rooms. Could here loud conversations until late at night
Price was on offer for 20 euro plus brakfast. Excellent value for money. Full Irish breakfast well worth the 9 euro. fills you up for the day.
Stairs and door keys.
Very poor reception on TV in room or any other room according to staff member . Sockets were loose on the wall (very dangerous). Very bad mould on walls and ceiling in bathroom . No Bar. Just a sitting room with a fridge . But i wouldnt pay that price for a bottle of beer . . .
Good location, easy to get to from thefrom M50, had character.
paintwork in need of attention in bathroom, no plug in sink but otherwise satisfactory, plenty of hot water.
Staff were willingly help but unable to do anything.
The hot water only worked 1/4 times. The wifi didn't connect in the room during anytime during the stay. For the cost it was very disappointing.
Location and price. The perfect cheap and cheerful expectation but then again you pay for what you get! complemtary drinks at McGowns bar. Beds were very comfy with no disruptions or city noise throughout for the perfect nights sleep. City bus from across the road travelling straight into the heart of the city and grafton and molesworth street. Ideal for what we wanted it for...... A comfy bed to lay our heads.
Bathroom wasn't up to scratch. Painted over dampness on ceiling above the shower. Hallway badly needed fresh air but the room was perfect.
Not a lot..
Room 20. Right beside the 24hr reception. Every guest had to stop at reception to get the room key on their return and then pass my door. Noise continued all night! The room was also quite small. In my opinion it should not be used as a bedroom. Will never be back!
Beautiful building, great staff, very comfy bed.
No tea making facilities in the room, but only in the room for a short period.
Very small room.
The hotel is located near a bus stop to get to and from the city in 10 minutes or can walk it in half an hour or so. The hotel is great value for money in Dublin which is notoriously expensive. We had the breakfast on the first morning which for €9 each was reasonable and good quality. We also had a pizza there one night which was highly enjoyable and thanks to the staff for bringing it up!
The hotel promotes itself as a boutique hotel which on arrival, it was far from. The hotel feels dated, tired and in need of a revamp. We did not like that on the first morning, the cleaning staff left the window wide open all day which when arrived back, on an evening in November, made the room freezing. Whilst the hotel was convenient for the bus, I wished we had spent more and got somewhere more central as getting back later at night was only really possible by taxi which cost about €10.
