Moved two single beds together only to find broken glass , cigarette, and worst of all patch of mould that was there that long it actually was growing hair . Would not recommend this accommodation to anyone.
There was a terrible smell in the apartment
It's in the center ,and it's very easy to walk around to the most attractions in few minutes. The Rooms are very large and confortable , the Cleaness is ok And the kitchen And the Washington machine with the dry are perfect for a family.
Close to dublin's attractions
On busy road, designated car park is long walk away. Toilet anx bathroom were filthy, decor is tired, two lightbulbs were out, kitchen was poorly equip and so very difficult to self cater. Very little care given to apartment to make it a pleasanf place to stay
Good location to town and for transport by bus. Airy and not stuffy like most hotel rooms.
Beds really uncomfortable in both rooms. Suite in living area worn, ripped and extremely uncomfortable
24 hour reception Excellent location Very comfortable Very clean
Kitchen utensils was a bit limited
The apart was quite roomy and close to everything. Temple Bar district and restaurants only a short walk away. Staff were excellent.
Our bathroom smelt very musty and damp. The doors were really heavy and wouldn't stay open. Front rooms right above High St. and it can be noisey so sleeping with the windows open at night not an option.
Proximity to all attractions.. right in the middle.
squeaking door waking people sleeping at night (why put a spring load on each door making noise!!), heavy constant noise from main street, could not keep windows opened at night due to heat.. and no air conditioning, difficult to understand water heating system which use electricity saving device, very uncomfy table seats and sofas. did not like it. No onsite parking and can`t park legally car in front while dropping luggage and check-in.
We got upgraded to a two bedroom
the power of the shower was really weak
Room, staff, wifi
The location. The cleanliness. The helpfulness of the staff, on occasions.
The state of the accommodation in general. Very dated. Not worth the money.
Bathroom Rooms smelled very bad. Very expensive.
We loved the idea that we could go away with our young teenage children together but allowing them independence. They were safe and secure. That we could go off to sleep leaving them to chat. It was great that we had our own entrance to the apartment. It is the same feeling as having a complete suite in a hotel. We were able to have a lovely relaxed breakfast that suited all of us. And it all came at an affordable price.
We thought that the receptionist did not have great people skills (when we arrived) But we will stay with you again in the future.
The apartment was much better than a hotel room for a family there was plenty of space and we cooked in the kitchen and had a little living room so loads of space as opposed too a hotel room.
The window opened out and had no bars outside very dangerous for kids it was just one bedroom but we couldn't let our 2 year old out of sight for a second.
Just outside Temple Bar. Perfect location. Surrounded by beautiful buildings. Apartment was great. Everything we needed and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would stay here on every visit.
We each got our own room!
Location was great, neer city center
Sticky fake leather seats Abominal bathroom, shower hardly works Beds are small and uncomfortable
Bedroom windows leading to the quiet lane.
Doors in the apartment closing by itself.
only needed a place to literally put the head down so didn't get to take full advantage.it seemed to have everything a person would need, defo stay here again....
We were upgraded which made our apartment, exceptional value.
Doors within the apartment slamming shut behind us was both loud and annoying
Fantastic weekend in Dublin, great location, clean, tidy and well presented. 9 out of 10
wifi a bit and hit a miss
Location from Temple Bar was a 10 minute walk.
The male receptionist woke us up at 06.40 Sunday morning for some reason he knocked the door then let himself in and told my friend that the room was booked later that day and we had to be out at 10.00 am. We were not happy to say the least because I had booked 2 apartments till the next day on Monday 14th July and the checkout time is 11.00 am and I still would not expect to be woken up at such an early hour to tell us we had to checkout at 10 am even if we were due to leave that day. When I went down to reception at 11.30 am I asked the female receptionist why this had happened and she didn't know and confirmed that we were booked in until the next day. I have stayed at Stay City apartment a few times and just thought this was unacceptable....
Simple accommodation Good location Not too noisy.
No place to hang towels Lack of cleaning materials Insufficient soap, shampoo, loo roll etc for a group of up to 5 people for 4 nights. Insufficient hangers Guests required to wash dishes, means that one could no rely on the dishes in place being clean.
There was a good amount of space and the location was excellent.
We ran out of hot water after one shower and there were five of us. Also the "sofa bed" was awful. We ended up sleeping 3 in one bed.
