Good Food Courteous Staff Good Value Central Location

Hotel high standard of accommodation with good service. The restaurant provides a comprehensive menu with an early bird option until 19.30 hrs. I stayed at the hotel for easy acess to Knock airport for an early flight. I needed to book a taxi and I was lucky the receptionist managed to get a local car. Taxis are independent individuals with a licence and it can be difficult to get a local cab. If you book a taxi from further away you will be charged for them to come out to you and then your journey. The hotel is comfortable and pleasent to stay at and I would recommend it to anyone.

Good central location and friendly staff. The food and service were excellent.

Decor a bit dated and dark but nothing a coat of paint wouldn't fix. Parking was a bit hit and miss.

Very good service. Staff were courteous and friendly, and were quick to respond to requests. No fussing or intruding. Very patient in explaining bill. Very good quality early-bird evening meal, with good service, good wine, nice setting - and all very good value. Very nice bar. Broadband, TV. Comfortable, clean room. Excellent bathroom. Absolute quiet after dark, though the hotel is right in the centre of town. All round good value.

As with similer hotels not enough staff, the staff were very good but cant be in 3 places at once. Some people walked out because they were waiting so long at the bar, if this was their first visit, they wont be back

We were very satisfied with our stay here. We booked a double room for the evening and in fact got upgraded to a twin/family-type room so there was lots of space. The bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was clean and well resourced. This is an excellent mid-range hotel in a small irish town. It is in the heart of the town so it benefits from plenty of facilities (pubs and shops) nearby - but it does not suffer from noise or anything. The hotel was probably slightly understaffed during our stay, but the staff there were very friendly and very willing to help!

Its always difficult to complain about a mid-range hotel. There was no swimming pool in our room - or any luxuries in fact - but it was a good mid-range hotel. If I wanted to be really picky i'd say that the soap dispensers in the bathroom were a bit crappy and some of the door stoppers were a bit loose but nothing that affected our holiday.

The view onto the Main Street & large size room with excellent water pressure in bathroom. Free wifi invaluable. Great breakfast.
