Originally built in 1867, this charming townhouse has been tastefully renovated in a modern style, while still retaining its historic charm, with stained glass windows and high coved ceilings.

The fire alarm went off three times which woke us up ... and the room was freezing i thought the window was open but it was a gap in the frame couldnt get warm all night
IT was a last minute booking,,, got in late and staff were very welcoming,,and very professional.. even though the bar was closed it was possible to get a drink,,, the parking and all was grand,,, easy to find.. even though it was necessary to go through some security barriers,,,it was nt a problem,,,would stop there again if needed,,, but not as a CITY hotel,,,,
The breakfast service was a bit disorganised,,, no tables ready,,,,not a lot of choice,,,,its a pity the staff at breakfast were not as professional as the reception staff,,,, one young female manager type was rude not to me but to other guests,,, the staff seem untrained,,actually one of the waiting staff got into bother with the till,,,and in fact that was OK because she was pleasant and human about it,, the young manager woman in the suit could learn from her,,, but as it is really a sleep over spot on the motorway and /or on the way to the airport the breakfast delays could be annoying,,,and this was not crack of dawn,,,, ANother word of caution,,, its certainly not CITY,,,, its North County Dublin very near the Meath border,,,
The waitor Robbie, despite being under staffed and busy, was very friendly and made our meal more enjoyable. We booked a executive king room which was amazing! Very impressed!! Would have loved to stay an extra night.
We had booked a king room, as mentioned above, but were given a double room. When complained we were giving a new key but not much of an apology. When checking out didn't find the receptionist very friendly.
Staff didn't knocked on the door, just walked in. We literally were shocked and felt disrespected. Awful experience.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Everything is clean and comfortable cant wait till we visit again.
Room comfortable, staff helpful and friendly, prompt with airport shuttle to and from the airport
Room was impeccably clean especially the bathroom. Fire alarm sounded in the middle of the night by accident but I thought it was good that a written apology was slipped under the door.
When we checked in the lady at the desk was mannerly but not particularly friendly. Had a Xmas party in the hotel which started off well but found the service filtered off as the courses came out. We paid for 4 courses but in fact some of us only got 2. Half the desserts were served & didn't get any tea or coffee.
Good clean we got an upgrade!!
The disstubance and behaving of the irish dancers. Woke us up by dancing above our head with the shoes with steeltips
I've stayed here on several occasions and would highly recommend this hotel. Friendly helpful staff, rooms are clean and comfortable. Food in the hotel is good. Breakfast is excellent. My only dislike was that the shower was over the bath. Seperate shower cubical would be great.
I didn't like the fact there was no seperat shower cubicle.
bar poorly stocked, heating in room poor, food very slow to be severed,
Everything very relaxed
Staff were friendly Food was exceptional Bed was comfortable Wi-Fi was good
Room wasnt clean
Staff very rude, Had dinner for two adults and four kids in restuarant and got charged €1.80 for a jug of Mi-Wadi - ripp off Ireland. Gamesroom available but you pay to play pool, the ball missing from the football table and the wii u just didnt work, notified reception who just said somebody must have taken the ball from table, not very helpful
everything else was good
very poor service in the bar for food. I would hate to try and get served if you were busy .............
Food, staff, facilities,
Nothing to dislike
Free parking, wifi and good breakfast!
Breakfast very good
Service I'm bar / restaraunt could be better. Food was just about warm on last night.
The staff were amazing. Facilities were fantastic.
Staff were friendly, very helpful and excellent. Rooms were large and comfortable. WIFI facilities and areas to work in the rooms excellent. Hotel was very easy to get to on the motorway and handy for bus transfers to Dublin city. Food was excellent. Nice of a break to recharge the batteries. Excellent facilities for functions and conferences with great offers.
A bit isolated without a car. Minor roads to local towns and areas were difficult/confusing if you were not familiar with them. Motorway is so convenient. A library/reading/card/TV room for quietly relaxing in would be an excellent option other than the foyer.
The ease with which you could access the main motorways. The rooms were quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent value.
The dinner was excellent and so was the breakfast.
Stains on the bedroom walls and cobwebs in all corners of the ceiling.
Staff in restaurant were just fab. Really friendly and attentive service
Myself and 2 colleagues were sharing a room for 2 nights as we were company training in Dundalk. We were woken by a fire alarm in the early hours of our first night and were simply told by staff it was a hoax. WE struggled then to get back to sleep. This is my 2nd time ever staying in this hotel and on my 1st occasion I was staying with my husband and children. We also didnt sleep that night due to unruly guests after a wedding. I think its too much of a party hotel for me to be honest. Not suitable for families or business
Reception staff were very good
bar staff were very poor
Food was excellent I've stayed in many hotels but neaver had my room cleaned so well ....
