We loved it because everything was right. You could not fault it
I stayed two nights in two different rooms and formed two different opinions from this. Second night I stayed the room had been considerably modernised compared with the first. Lemongrass restaurant attached to hotel was nice Wifi available and also a broadband extension if needed Good size room
Rooms were quite dark - both the lighting and the dark furniture Very big place, can take a while to find your room TV signal a bit poor
Staff were great, everything works - wifi in the room so I could sort out a few emails etc..
Leaving - I will be back
Food was poor and cold and very bad value for money.
Good craic lots of atmosphere plenty of Christmas spirit
Leisure complex outside of hotel.steam room in a mess sauna more heat from my kettle.no security in changing rooms
Rooms freezing cold and a banging noise all week end
Food was good, entertainment in the bar
I booked a spa bath & queen size bed for my partner & I, but to be honest it was no bigger than a standard bath and was supposed to be a pre Christmas treat...
Superior room was lovely, place looks great. Parking good.
€95 for room only, no breakfast is ridiculous, as is 11am checkout time.
Everything it was clean friendly great service rooms were fab
The room was very nice .. Shower n bed were brilliant.
Price of alcohol.
Some members of staff were very rude. The hotel is in need of a total revamp. I stay in Dublin on business quite a lot and I won't be staying in the CityWest again.
Great location & staff
I was very pleased with the hotel. The breakfast was beautiful and excellent value. Well worth ten euro. I would stay again just for the breakfast. Thank you
Friendly staff lovely grounds
Room was not clean stains of spilt drink down wall ...room was cold bathroom was not clean seems like the hotel needed s bit of TLC breakfast basic also
Location was excellent when travelling from Cork & avoiding traffic as Luas only 5 min walk to city centre. Plenty in space in hotel. Lemongrass restaurant was fab, beautiful food....highly recommended!
Where do I begin? Getting stuck in the lift was not a great start, with no apology from staff or follow up when eventually rescued. Stayed in a family room, which was reasonably comfortable but the noise in the morning from 5am in the room next door was appalling. I'd have been better off sleeping in the car park! I could hear 'George' next door talking...not loudly but there was zero sound proofing in these rooms. But what really annoyed me was when the toilet/showers were turned on....it was like an aeroplane taking off. Persistant horrific noise...for a family room it was terrible. Overall for what we paid it offered no value for money. It did not include breakfast which would have been a nice gesture after being stuck in the lift if offered. I have stayed previously in city west & probably will again but I have seen standards slip overtime which is a shame for a nice hotel
very luxurious rooms, very clean, only stayed one night but would definitely recommend and come back
no hair dryer in my room
Lovely room - large, comfortable and clean
The distance to my room was not acceptable especially when carrying luggage. Very confusing hotel!!!
I choose this hotel because of it's location - so that was good. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is breakfast was nice and the sheets on the bed were clean - but that's to be expected in a 4*.
The bedroom was dusty and had a black rim on the carpet all around the edge. No sockets by the bed and worst of all no WiFi in the room!! This is promoted as a conference hotel?? Bathroom was very dated with nowhere to put toilet bag, and around the taps, edge of bath & shower screen was very stained. Bathmat was also badly stained. We had dinner in the Bistro and it was very poor quality - I had seafood pasta which didn't have any prawns or mussels as listed on the menu and paid €14.50 for it. We had a better meal from the Spar in Junction 14 rest stop the following day!! There were so many families there having a pre Christmas break and being ripped off.I would definitely not recommend this hotel for business or leisure!
shower to low Kids running around bar late at night
Staff were very pleasant and helpful
breakfast a bit on the salty side
The hotel was stunning, rooms very spacious, had a great time, no faults at all, would recommend it to friends, I would come back in the future
I didn't like they increase the price every couple of months we stay there a couple a times a year it's just gone to expensive to stay there any more
staff extremely friendly and welcoming restaurant was lovely and food delicious rooms comfy and quiet also has a smoking option
