There was a nice Pub there. There was live music and everything and the food was wonderful! The room was nice not bad. And the breakfast was really good. There was suppose to be things for the children to do. A pool and play place inside when we got there they were all closed. They did not mention on the website or on booking.com that they close early in the winter. So the children we were with there disappointed and had nothing to do. But since there was nothing for the children to do there were a lot of children (not ours) running everywhere!!! It was very annoying. They were everywhere! |

We had a very unplesant stay (long story)... The hotel in general is falling down. Leisure centre is ugly and we had a run in with the girl working there. Alot more bad things happened during our stay but we talked to the manager... |

This was an excellent place for a family stay. The large family rooms where great with 5 beds! We even had a cot brought in for our little one. Lots to do for the children (crafts, swimming, games, etc.). We wish we could have stayed here for a few days during our tour of Ireland. Not a bad drive back to Bunratty Caslte and great starting point for the Cliffs. The bathroom needs to be renovated. The drain did not work and our phone did not work. Didn't appreciate that our family room was right at the stairs and at 2:00am a rather drunk man with company made a ruckus that woke us up and our little one. We couldn't call for assistance because the phone didn't work. |

Family friendly hotel with generous play area (Dennis Den) out the back, crazy golf, tennis and swimming pool. Some of the rooms are quite a distance from reception - I requested a family room near reception but room was located on 3rd floor and 5 min walk down corridor. Also, the room only contained one small double bed. Other rooms were a very generous size with plenty of beds. Play area (Dennis Den) should be better advertised. It would be helpful if proper tea/coffee/snack were available in the play area. |

The facilities for families with children is excellent including outdoor activites & organised events indoors, staff are very helpful. I found the hotel itself to be dated & the corridor & rooms are quite musty. I would try the lodges for my next stay. |

I booked the Clare Inn Hotel having received a flyer in the post. €279 for two nights B&B and 1 dinner. Our room was a bit small so we asked to be upgraded to a bigger sized room-this was no problem at all. Staff were quiet helpful and very willing to help. The food in the hotel was lovely and the kids enjoyed the kidz club. The pool was a good size and the kids loved it. The hotel definitely caters for families and we hope to come back again. |

staff moved me from bad room, with no problem. old looking room (136) with damp feeling of bed sheets and old dirty pipes in corner of room, also had been booked into a room on the ground floor and could hear people walking around in the room above. Got moved to the floor above (146) better room but had two birds nests outside window. way over priced have stayed in better hostels. |

I stayed at the Clare Inn as I was attending a wedding in the hotel. The service was fantastic. The meal was beautiful. The receptionist was very friendly, it was a pleasure dealing with her. I had booked a single room and had expected a single bed but to my delight there was a double and single bed in the room. I was never as glad to see a double bed at 5am. I used the leisure centre the next morning before breakfast. The pool was very refreshing and helped clear my head. Breakfast was well served with plenty to go around and seconds if we wanted it. This hotel is ideal for families as there was lots of kids running around with happy faces and plenty of things for them to do. Over all I relly enjoyed my stay at the Clare Inn Hotel. Didn't like that I didn't know there was golf course-I would have brought clubs if I'd known. |

Our suite was large, clean and well-appointed. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable of the local area. There was a playground and lots of activities for the children. We would definitely stay here again. When we arrived there was a mistake in our reservation - we had booked a suite and were put in a room. However, the mistake was quickly corrected and we enjoyed our stay. |

Far too expensive. You should be charging no more than €50 a night, including breakfast. The only thing I liked was the reception staff (friendly and competent) and the housemartins' nest outside my window. Far too expensive, Please note this and pass it up the line: Far Too Expensive! |

The least expensive hotel of my stay. Location. Close to Shannon Airport. Close to Newmarket on Fergus, Lahinch and the Cliffs, where I wanted to visit the day before flying out of Shannon. Physical plant is in need of renovation. Thin walls and very loud doors when closing, but not too disturbed after 11pm or so. |

I was very disappointed with the room and service at the hotel. At breakfast the plates and cups were grimy ( were not properly cleaned). We ate dinner in the hotel also and had to ask a numebr of times to be able to order drinks or get bread with our soup. It was a busy night but the staff were not able to cope with the numbers...there seemed to be no manager in sight. See above..fidn it hard to say something I did like..Friends of ours also stayed ( for 3 nights) but said they were really thinking of leaving and woudl not go back. Neither will I. |

The bar was a nice size and comfortable. The location was very good as we were attending a wedding in dromoland castle. The beds were damp and there was an absolutely disgusting smell from the toilets. As it was very late when we were getting into bed, we didn't bother asking to change. |
