Very comfortable bed, nice staff
Kettle not working, told staff but no replacement was brought, door to adjoining room was open and couldn't be locked, and althought the door from the other side was locked in opened and closed slightly every time the wind blew. Wifi was cabled not wireless
All good except as staed as disliked
Bed duvet and poor pillow: Lots of rubbish in the grounds at side entrance and torn flag hanging form unit window
There was a stale smell of cigarette smoke in the room despite the fact that there is a no smoking policy.
Good location and value
The hotel reception is not attended full time and making contact with the mobile number provided for check-in can be unreliable due to network coverage in the area. It took approximately 20 mins of ringing the number provided before I could speak to hotel personnel.
Quiet and close to city centre.
No information on restaurants or fast food outlets in the area. No WiFi. No place to drop off key card when leaving.
Smoke alarm went of at silly O clock in the morning
décor was lovely
room was extremely cold and the heating took forever to warm the room. The water was brown when I tried to take a bath and the room needed a good clean
I loved the apartment, it was perfect for us. We were going out in Sligo with friends. Kitchen was nice, big fridge & so on. Really enjoyed our stay.
The man we dealt with at the reception was quite rude & very sharp with me. I would recommend the apartments, but they should reconsider their staffing at reception.
Very good location and very handy for young kids.
The lights at entrance werent working properly and car park was quite dark and returning to the property in the dark with kids felt a bit unsecure.
Place was firstly hard to locate, there's no signs indicating it's within the grounds of another hotel (sorry forgetting the name now). Once arrived there was no one there had to call, misleading the check in time indicated, once the person arrived to check is in they asked had we waited long, giggled and said we were lucky? The noise between rooms was awful could hear next door person having long phone conversation. Also the room was very dirty the bathroom especially, behind the physical bathroom door was very gross. Beds were so hard might as well slept in a rock, was by far the worst place we stayed at during our entire stay in Ireland for a month. Would not recommend.
It was cold and the shower wasnt great it was very complicated to get to right temperature. No hairdryer provided
Location ,comfort ,friendly and helpful staff .
No service in rooms for our 5 night stay .
The Suites are right beside the Clarion hotel which was handy for evening entertainment. The room was nice and dark and quiet enough (for a bank holiday weekend). The room had one tiny radiator but heated up fast.
The receptionist, who was a little on the moody side, was not expecting us for 2 nights (as booked on booking.com). There was no uniform but rather a hoody and tracksuit was worn which gave again the feeling that this was more of a hostel with ex hotel equipment/bedding/duvets and pillows. The room was a triple room and had only 3 old foam pillows that were quite flat. The reception appeared to be closed for the remainder of our stay (Sunday and bank holiday Monday). The room was not as clean as it should be. Bathroom shower curtain was dirty and the carpet and skirting boards in the room were not clean. I don't think we'll be back.
The suite was warm and clean, the heating was adjustable which was great. Rooms were quiet and convenient to town. Beds were comfortable.
Having to do the dishes and clean-up before leaving. We were given 1 bath and 1 hand towel, when we asked for more bath towels we told that one each should been enough for 3 nights.
Location Helpful young guy at reception Good sleep
Broken furniture in our bedroom SIgn outside the property stating that they have leisure facilities. They do not and the fee is a hefty 14 euros per person if you wish to use the hotel pool. Our family car was damaged, even thought it was parked in Bay 6 beside the front door. Very disheartening to come down in the morning and see this.
The friendliness of the staff.
I booked these apartments for myself and a group of friends and after some of the reviews I was a bit scared. But don't be put off by the negatives on here. The two bedroom apartments are huge and clean with tea, coffee, toiletries and towels provided.Comfy beds and quiet. All round great stay.
They are a little bit out from the centre of Sligo but the taxi services are good.
Bed was comfortable looked fairly modern location was fine Was a good size
Place was dirty, I moved the couch in living room to access a plug what I found, well lets just say it asked me to put the couch back. No remote for tv. Internet forget about in even with wired connection Front desk staff while polite didn't seem to have much interest, asked for a receipt and was told " head office looks after that but I will get one e-mailed to you" Some weeks later nothing. Would I stay here again unlikely pity as has potential.
The space, the brightness, spotlessly clean, great value for money.
Couldn't get TV to work
Paying for Leisure center. We were to believe self catering when the room we had was not.
Fine comfortable spacious suite
Found lack of sink draining board in kitchen a bit of a nuisance.
Large unit. Comfortable bed.Quiet area..unit set in nice grounds.
A bit tired...apartments require some updating.A bit far from centre of Sligo.
Quiet room. Beds and bathroom were good.
Carpets in corridor dirty. Windows dirty. Triple room does not have fridge or cooking facilities.
The views from the third floor windows. The big comfortable bed. The peace and quiet. The reasonably good bathroom. The feeling of spaciousness. The convenience of the hotel facilities next door and the easy walk into the town centre.
The badly designed & equipped kitchen area. (Our caravan litchen area is of a far better design, the designer of that in the suite had obviously never had to use a kitchen in earnest) The rather decrepit half collapsed bed/settee in the lounge. The dirty windows, the broken cupboard door (repaired on our request). The broken tube on the vacuum cleaner. The lack of a list of what should be found in the apartment. The stuffiness of the suite upon our arrival, fortunately the weather was good so we were able to fling wide the windows.
it's calm and clean
no wifi no internet far from the city center nothing could be near to u but the school of IT Sligo
