Benbulben Apartments

We were traveling with our grown son, so we liked the fact that we had two bedrooms and a room in between to congregate.

We thought it was dreadful. Someone was beating on our door in the middle of the night to try to get us to help him with his passed out girlfriend on the hall floor. The fire alarm went off twice and not because of a fire. The entrance to the apartments is pitch black at night. Beer bottles were strewn all about the common areas. We rang reception for a bucket of ice one evening and they said it was "inconvenient". There was no mattress pad on our bed. The doors between each of the rooms within our apartment were like fire doors and had to be propped open with a piece of furniture. No handle on one of the bedroom doors so could only be opened from outside. Rips in furniture.

Near to local areas of interest. Professional, courteous staff. High quality appartments. Good Sports Facilities.

We had a problem with one of our bathrooms. Staff dealt with it to the best of their ability.

The hotel is not within walking distance of Sligo town and any reference to king sized beds is actually two singles put together.

Good location.Good size rooms.

Bathroom in need of updating.There was a cracked wash hand basin and skirting missing from side of bath.Also there was glue /sticky stuff in the bath.I had to ask twice for my kettle to be replaced as it was so rusty inside it was tainting the water taste.

Spacious rooms and pleasantly furnished. 2 bedroomed apartment ideal for us. Able to do our own breakfast. Taxi into town, very easy.

Noisy neighbours! Hen party Saturday night but they were having fun and we are old!!

The rooms were well proportioned and the design of the apartment and layout was excellent.

The apartment reception being closed was inconvenient.

The apartment was very spacious

I was very disappointed with the location of the apartment in the hotel - it looked out on to a very high grass bank - which meant there was no view from the apartment

The apartment was comfortable, good bar food, pool and kiddies club ideal.

roms were meant to be non smoking but there was a smell of smoke in one bedroom. apartment missing some equipment.

The apartments were clean and very spacious, ideal for groups of friends, and good value. The food was lovely and staff helpful.

A bit of a trek to the main hotel and a bit confusing to find - a map in each apartment would be helpful!

the pool , the gym , kids facilities , excellent apartments very homely and spacious , i would reccomend them to anyone family

The service of the two restaurants at the hotel was below standard, the staff even though very polite were not very helpful. My family and I were left waiting along time before we ordered food . On two occasions we were brought down the wrong food and we decided to leave the restaurant . We were told the bill would be cancelled and we offered to pay for the childrens meals.

Appartments were well equipped and spacious.

The appartments were very cold until occupied for a period of time and the small heaters had time to inject some heat to the room.

fab apartments, loads of space,

water was never warm for showers, left it running for ages & no luck. cold showers all weekend...not good, complained to reception & was told to leave it running for a while but it continued to get cold. interconnecting door between rooms locked, asked reception to open it but nobody did.

Food in asian restaurant was not very nice
