The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, the pool and leisure centre was lovely. The reception staff were pleasant. Hotel was warm and cosy. Restaurant and bar are in the one room which is a bad idea as people stay seated when finished eating and it isnt a large eating room. Service in the restaurant was poor. Badly signposted for the carpark. Other than that the hotel was lovely.

Central location with on site parking. Near to a range of good resteraunts. responded to gove us a room with a view which was excellent. A bit clinical in layout and service.. Catered more for the big occasion on the day so felt a little peripheral.

The dining room was closed except for breakfast. The Kudos lounge only served Asian cuisine. Not acceptable for a major hotel to not have proper dining facilities available for lunch and dinner.

The Hotel was really nice and rooms were very comfortable, bathroom beautiful. All was very clean and staff extremely nice and helpful. Enjoyed the music in the bar. The hotel room was nice and quiet at night. Food in the bar was only ok. There was not much choice. The drink in the bar was quiet expensive.

The Clarion is in a fantastic location and ideal for shopping and socialising in Cork City. The rooms have great facilities and the hotel offers a large foyer, restaurant, great space to relax and eat and rooms overlooking the river. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and would definitely stay there again. Breakfast is expensive

Good location just few minutes walks from main shopping streets. Nice food in the restaurant. Stall were all very friendly Bed was much too hard, it was the most unconfortable bed I ever slept in and my husband agreed, neither of us could get a good night sleep any of the nights we stayed as it was so unconfortable

Good location, beside the river, good buffet breakfast, very comfortable room, agreeable staff. Reasonable prices. We were there during the wonderful Cork Choral Festival and there were delightful (and free!) choral recitals each afternoon in the hotel atrium. In our experience, nothing negative at all to say about the hotel.

My husband and stayed in a room overlooking the river and the vista from the balcony was something to be remembered. We will be returning to Cork in the near future and will be booking the Clarion Hotel. Mary cummins Wicklow

Staff very friendly. Food in restaurant was gorgeous.. Very relaxin atmosphere It's a bit pricey would expect an evening meal when payin €240.00. Plus the homeless shelter is a very big disadvantage did not feel safe at night time an very noisy at night time when your listening to the drunks singing an fighting outside ur window

Have stayed before and thats why we stayed agian, excellent staff and service and always willing to attend to my needs, have recommended the hotel to others and will always stay at the clarion whenerver I visit cork again in the future. Highly recommend this hotel. No complaints only praise

one small problem was lack of signage out on road as you approach in traffic, we had to go around the block to get into carpark as we passed the hotel first time around . a good sign for clarion car park would do the trick.

The Hotel was lovely and we would have liked to have had the time to enjoy the spa, however we arrived late and had to go early. I have eaten lunch here previously and I know that the food is very good. Unfortunately, in the room that we were staying in, the water from the shower was cold and we couldnt get it to heat up. We were pressed for time so didnt ask for assistance. Also I did find that the breakfast (the buffet cooked breakfast) wasnt very hot. We had our breakfast quite early in the morning 7:30am so we were a little surprised about this. But the breakfast was nice and a wide selection

Very clean and modern decor. Nice breakfast ans comfortable room. We stayed there on Saturday night and I am quite happy with children in hotels and it has never bothered me before but I was in the residents bar until around 2am with my partner and there were children running around the hotel and into the bar until 1am. Not only were they running around but they were in their bare feet which was very dangerous as a glass had been dropped ealier in the night. I am not fully aware of the laws regarding children in resiidents bars but I know that regular bars permit children until 9pm accompanied by an adult. These children were even being served minerals at this late hour.

Staff friendliness was excellent My room overlooked the internal courtyard, which was fine, however it overlooked the corridor so people walking to and from the lift could see into the room.

Swiming activities at the pool, bedrooms are nice. We dont like the food at restaurant (asian cousine) Too salty, no tasty, menu for kids is poor, chips are too oily, oil should be change more often. No good no good. I would never go to this restaurant again. Breakfast was ok.
