l later rang the hotel to upgrade from double to triple room. l spoke to a very helpful lady in reservations and only mentioned that l was to stay in the hotel for my birthday. when l got to my room there was a happy birthday card. there are only a few of that good lady's caliber still around. she is the one l would vote for worker of the year |

when we arrived at the hotel the spa was booked out and as we were only there for two nights we did not get the treatment we wanted, when reserving the room we should have been asked if we wanted spa treatment and to put in a reservation to avoid this disappointment. Also there should be hotel parking we should not have to pay for parking on top of paying for the room, |

Hotel Standards overall good. Disappointed that when having Breakfast I could not use either Cup on my Table and I had to request a clean Cup. Both Cups were poorly washed. Needs attention. |

Received a very friendly, warm and welcoming reception while checkingin and shortly after arriving in hotel room was rang to ask if everything in room to our satisfaction and was there anything we required. Room was quite spacious and excellent lay-out. It was a triple-room and interior design etc was excellent.Compared to a "delux twin room" my sister and I stayed in while in London which was suppose to be a four-star hotel, the Clarion must be at least 5 if not 6-stars!!! Central location in Cork city;within easy walking distance of shops, bars, restuarants. Late-night bar-staff not very helpful or efficient on the night. |

Myself & 2 girlfriends had a triple room, quite spacious. I liked your green policy with the towels. The breakfast was excellent, especially the selection of nuts which I haven't seen anywhere else. Pool and sauna are great. I would have liked to have purchased some pool socks althou I only thought of this when I was in the pool so maybe they are on sale. Overall excellent. |

The rooms in the Clarion were very big and spacious and very comfortable. The food was very nice and the staff are lovely very helpful. Paying for parking in this hotel is shocking very dear to stay for a week as its €9 a night to keep the car in the car park. The car park also has only one entrance/exit so you would have to be careful if you were driving into this. |

The hotel was spotlessly clean, central and staff very friendly.we recommended it to our friends, they are taking a visit to your hotel in dec. Myself,My Husband & my daughter stayed in room no;432.we would have prefered to have a river view as the hotel was not full.my brother stayed the same time as us with the same view. The view from our window was of homeless people which were fighting amoung themselves, very load, not a very nice sight to see morning/night and urining ,I had to prevent my daughter from seeing that.my mother and father said the same time too.there view was quite nice. |

Lovely Hotel, perfect for a city trip , very central. Room very clean and spacious . The only problem I found was that there was a lot of street noise between 3am-5am, must be a disco or pub near by!! |

The hotel was generally cofortable, the room decent, and the pool facilities were good - really enjoyed the early-morning swim. The one problem I had was when I wanted to download a film to watch in my room. I understood this service was available, and was keen to take advantage, as I had an early start the next day, so a film was perfect. I clicked on the option, and was presented with two categories: "Adult" and "All". However, it turned out that the contents of these were the same! The hotel only had adult films on offer. I've nothing against adult films, but it wasn't what I wanted, so it was bizarre and disappointing to find this was all there was. Especially when the two categories implied something else, it was very shoddy. Hopefully, it was a temporary problem, and it's taken care of, but it was all pretty silly, and made the hotel look silly. |

It was conveniently located with all amenities available, the spa and restaurant. Parking was also convenient and the staff were excellent. I enjoyed the toiletries provided and the coffee/tea/cocoa facility in the room. The complementary newspaper was appreciated too. The pool area needs a facelift, also what was a little unpleasant (no fault of the hotel) was the homeless people who slept outside on the street below our room -331) |
