An excellent hotel in a desirable location - close to city centre, with bus station just around the corner. Staff are friendly and exceedingly helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable and enjoyed a high standard of daily service.
location is excellent
We were a group of 16, on the Fri night almost all tables in the bar were reserved so we had to sit in the lobby for drinks, which was ok as it's nice but it left us having to leave the hotel to eat as we just wanted bar food but were told there was no availability. bar drink prices shocking!!
bed was a little hard
Location is perfect. Everything is closeby.
I had already booked 2 rooms at this hotel for a special trip with friends for May 2015. I was both lucky and delighted to have the opportunity to cancel THAT trip.
Only one bar with food choice reduced to mainly Asian Dishes - the bar area had this aroma constantly throughout the day! Had to walk to a decent [very nice] hotel where we ate and drank in a more relaxing and conventional manner !
Restaurant was excellent
Requested a room with a river view and was given one with no extra charge this was appreciated
Poor microwave breakfast bap cold scrambled egg toast not toasted dissapointing excellent coffee would still comeback in fact next week
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast with excellent service. Fantastic location. Very spacious and comfortable bedroom with complementary water.
While bedroom was comfortable and well equipped, the equipment (hairdryer and especially the iron) didn't work very well. The bed was a wee bit lumpy. Towels were changed although I had hung them up as I was happy to re-use them.
Staff helpfulness. Generally comfortable but not up to standard of previous visits. Appreciated the complimentary water, newspapers etc
Some room fittings needed replacement e.g tap head; I could not warm temp on a/c system my first night there but this was rectified by staff the next morning; very surprised that minibar was empty; also food snacks were not on sale at the bar- perhaps a vending machine on each floor? But there should be something available other than room service sandwiches after 10pm
Room was clean. We requested a room on a high floor and that was no problem, we were given a room on the 6th floor. We also requested a cot which was not in the room when we got there however when we rang reception about this it was sorted immediately and a very nice man brought the cot up within two minutes.
We stayed on a Saturday night and the bar was very loud and busy with non residents, we had a small child with us. The only alternative is oysters restaurant which is a bit formal. There is nowhere neutral to eat, one extreme to the other really. Parking is €10 a night. Should really be free for guests.
Staff made me feel welcome again, and I felt at home.
Citycenter, excellent breakfast, good wi-fi
Hotel does not provide adapter for European plug-in, but sells it
I told them at reception about the bad mattress but they did not seem to be bothered too much and said that they were in the middle of changing some of them!
Staff very friendly ,great breakfast close for shopping very central .
Ordered room service, food was excellent for a decent price. Parking below the hotel was quite convenient.
STAFF VERY FRIENDLY. HOTEL CLEAN. ALL-ROUND V GOOD.
excellent customer service, great food and location.
Breakfast Location Staff
Great that free Wi-Fi was available but it was very poor
I was travelling with friends and loved that our room had 3 single beds, which is quite unusual and very welcome.
I have stayed here a number of times and the only negative is that the hotel is losing its shine. There is a lot of signage and advertising. The reception desks are busy with and feel more like an office than a front of house. Mismatched monitors and keyboards, lots of paperwork. Some of the doors, especially in the gym could do with a layer of varnish.
Clean and large room (US Hotel size - yeah) Comfortable bed Close to restaurants and shopping
Hard to check-in. park and unload on busy street
was not at all happy with my stay food was cold soup was cold ,glass had lipstick on it when booked asked for late chck out didn't get it very poor this time
Everything was great Excellent staff so helpful and polite. Spotless room with lovely views.we stayed in this hotel before and will again.
Even though the hotel was packed with guests the speed of service and professionalism of staff was phenomenal. Room service choices were vast and reasonably priced; so much so we opted for it 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed there!
The bedroom was so warm had to have air conditioning on through the night to be able to sleep!
Everything, but location above all
Location was good. Breakfast nice.
Poor wifi - practically non-existent. Pillows were like rocks so the sleep quality was poor. The room was extremely stifflling with no air - used the air con which helped a little.
