No more than 2 km away from airport. No lifts are available. Hotel guests are required to buy tickets for shuttle, which I have never heard of in airport hotels. No hospitality. Their services are mechanical and without smile without exceptions.. I need to remember the name of this hotel so that we may avoid using it again..

Nice landscaped interior courtyard. Quiet. Very close to airport (walking distance - ignore their shuttle bus, for which you may have to wait 25 minutes and, on the inward journey to the airport, also pay).Possible to swim in the charming Aer Lingus staff association club pool (for extra 7 Euro) - an art deco style hall with sauna and steam bath. Nostalgic faded glamour. Anonymous decoration, anonymous staff, could be anywhere. More hidden extras than Ryanair - breakfast an extra 15 Euro (and you can't help yourself to tea and coffee and there are notices telling you you'll be charged extra if you remove food to eat later on), newspapers extra, shuttle bus extra, free wi-fi doesn't work so can only get internet on expensive and inefficient pay-by-minute link. Anonymous decoration, anonymous staff, anonymous food. Irish hotels of this us kind were like this in the 1970s... time to move on. At 72 Euro per person, my stay was also ludicrously overpriced. And the rack rate is a staggering 200 Euro for 2 people.

The location was great for connecting flight to the uk which was the purpose for the stay there. Room comfortable, clean and staff were efficient and helpful. However, there is no people lift and getting bags to the first floor was not easy, with a need to call staff to manually operate a baggae lift 9which they did cherrfully!) We were quite surprised that the resturant was closed even though it was a Wednesday night and there seemed to be many people in the hotel. This lead to people eating in the bar area and extended to the lobby area which was in my view inappropriate. The range of food was limited with light bar meals, although the resturant menu was available. Even with this being the case the resturant menu was Asian only. This limited themed choice is not appropriate for a hotel located at the city's major international airport.

Proximity to dublin airport No toilities in bathroom, even when I asked at reception. No body lotion (this is usually standard in most hotels), however I was given free rotten fruit on the floor which was pleasant. This hotel was such a letdown in comparision to the cork city clarion, where I stay regularly for the same price.

Very close to the airport - that's the only thing this hotel has going for it. When having breakfast in the restauarant, we noticed that all of the glasses and bowls were grubby/dirty. We pointed this out to a member of staff who said "yeah, we can't seem to get them clean, but don't worry about it, it's just some film from the washing machine". I then found a hair (dark, short and curly) on my coffee saucer. The hotel looks like it was designed and built in the 80s and hasn't been updated since. The corridors are narrow and labyrinth like; there is no lift. Carpets are ragged; walls are grimy. Our television also looked like something from the 80s, buttons were missing and the pay-per-view function did not work. There was also some sort of orange grease hanging from the ceiling of the bathroom.

Location was good for airport connection The staff were friendly and helpful. The carpet was dirty and torn. The intake reception personnel were overwork increasing the time at registration and thus less efficient. The toilet would not flush consistently.

Honestly, The only thing I liked about my stay was that the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. And only a few minutes from the airport. There were quiet a few things that I did not like or enjoy about this hotel : Staff member that greated us. The size of the room and bathroom. No heating in room. Very disappointed.

The hotel is in no way suitable for a family stay. We were supposedly provided with a spacious family room - the room we got was most certainly not that. The pull out sofa bed was a disgrace - even my 4 year old found it impossible to get comfortable on it so for an adult it was unbearable. It has no lift! .....Yes no lift in the hotel so when you are a family and have bags / strollers/ kids it makes it impossible to get around without dragging bags etc... up flights of stairs while your kids stand around waiting for you - completely unacceptable. In addition the restaurant is very poor and has a very very limited menu. How this hotel could be graded as 4 star is beyond my comprehension - it is at the very best an extremely poor 3 star...and even that flatters this place. Do not stay here if you have a family staying but even if you are alone it is really not suitable in any way - I would never ever stay here again - it is a disgrace!

I found the staff to be very pleasant and friendly. They smiled directly at you and acted in pleasant and friendly manner. During the night a young man who was on duty on the front desk went to a great deal of trouble to get me a phone charger.

Handy location. Contrary to many other reviews I found all the staff helpful and friendly, the room quiet and comfortable , the food very tasty ( if a little pricey - as in most euro countries ) and the level of cleanliness very good It is unusual to be charged for the shuttle bus to the terminal
